Wow! We were looking for a lunch place & stumbled on Picnic. Staff was beyond great. Told us to grab a table, how to order, etc. The dryer was delayed, so they warned us & brought out our apps right away to munch on. Pimento & crackers were excellent, corn beignets were hot & crispy. They kept checking on us & food actually came out right away. All hot & delicious! Chicken Sammie's & tenders were yummy. Staff was super attentive. Would definitely go back!!

A nice little family restaurant where you can eat very good sandwiches and burgers.The quantities are reasonable and the prices too.Games are available on the shaded terrace (hence the perfect family restaurant).Service with a smile and quite fast.The toilets are very clean!

I got a burger and a fried chicken thigh, both were great. The burger was well constructed, each ingredient was obviously of a high quality but came missing cheese. The chicken thigh was delicious, well seasoned and juicy.I wish the portion sizes were bigger. The burger was especially small for the price and did not include fries and for $5, the chicken thigh was tiny.I’ll be back to try more!

We came across this place by accident after walking around Audubon Park. It turned out to be a hidden gem! We tried the crawfish boil fried chicken thighs, sandwich, potato salad, black bean and corn salad, and one of the special, a tuna sandwich. I was very surprised to see the tuna come out as whole pieces of tuna - it was delicious! The fried chicken was well cooked, good amount of spice, great flavor and breading. The seating was very cute and comfortable both inside and outside. Everyone was very nice and helpful. We would definitely go back and recommend to friends.

This place is so cozy and cool! I am from here, but live in Lafayette and was in town with my husband and I found this place after eating at Reginelli’s across the street. The outside was very eye catching, so we decided to eat here! Best decision ever! It absolutely DELICIOUS!! We had the Crawfish Boil Fried Chicken Sandwich with the fries and potato salad. It was so so good. Love that there are games outside to play. We will definitely be back in the future!!
We had a wonderful meal tonight! Delicious fried chicken and potato salad, as well as fingerling potatoes and corn salad. The service was excellent and the location was very cool. The outside seating area is set up with tables and eating supplies in baskets; cloth napkins are a nice addition to the amenities. It has a whiskey bar as well as other drinks available! It has picnic baskets that you can rent and all the fixings for a take away picnic. I will definitely be back!

Food was fresh and very tasty. We had a wonderful experience for dinner. Kiddos had a blast. I am only giving it 4 stars because after ordering they informed us of items being out of stock instead of in advance. Biscuits ran out which was part of a meal, and then the S'mores dessert had no graham crackers when it came out. Overall, customer service was good. Great staff and nice atmosphere.

I've been meaning to share this review for a while now. Adorable location so I'm giving it four stars. I honestly wasn't a fan of the food and that's probably just because it had a bit of a smokey flavor which you can expect at a place like this. That's just not my favorite but it doesn't mean it isn't good. If there's one thing PP&W does well it's presentation and wow!! Beautiful place and beautiful dishes. You almost feel like you're Add a classy picnic in the woods somewhere. My favorite part is when they host workout classes on the turf outside. Such a cute place!
An indulgent girls brunch done right! This little neighborhood joint has some delicious options. I started with the boudin egg rolls with white bbq sauce and pepper jelly. The egg rolls were ok. It was missing some spice and maybe some green onion but the pepper jelly definitely gave it the kick it needed. I followed up with the smothered fried catfish with Cajun rice and it was delicious!!! I'd come back just for that. I also ordered the piña colada. It was very thick and frothy to the point I ate it with a spoon. I would order it again but maybe add another shot of rum to thin it out or bring a larger straw. The bendy straws were cute but did not get the job done. They're well known for their crawfish boil fried chicken so I ordered a thigh a la cart. It did not disappoint either. Unfortunately they were sour of the famous potatoes and potato salad so I have to try those next time as well.

The most fantastic food and fantastic atmosphere...Such a cool, fun and unique
After a few miles of wandering around New Orleans, we were parched and hungry. We tried Picnic Provisions & Whiskey on a whim (I'll admit that the name drew us in), and we weren't disappointed. We ordered inside and snagged a sunny spot outside. The food took a little bit longer than we expected, but it was tasty, as were our beverages. We'd happily return when we're in town again!

Had a fantastic dinner. Best chicken tenders I have ever had. Just enough spice to add flavor without being too spicy, and cooked to perfection, perfect biscuits and all the sides were amazing.We had reservations for a big party and to make things easier on them and us rather than the normal counter ordering they took out orders table side. Cute inside with great outdoor seating, if the weather is good for it.
