Really delicious tapas. Our party of 6 tried several with the shrimp and mushroom toast winning. The 4 stars is due to lack of help for our server, Darnell. Not only did he talk to us and take our order, but he bussed our table. Little wonder everything took longer.

Absolutely outstanding! The menu is organized in unique way by snake, cold, hot and large dishes. We tasted 4 different hot starters. It was amazing, the chef has a unique menu that mixes world food spices plus local Louisiana Cajun food. The salads, the shrimp, tuna, oysters were amazing. Plates restaurant deserves a place in the Michelin restaurant guide!

The server was superb! I like that he explains the history of the place and everything on the menu. The food was great! It's kinda pricey for a small quantity. I love the fresh Fresca! Would recommend for anyone who likes fruity drinks. But overall it was a great experience.

We ate here last week and were blown away by the diverse menu and the extraordinary flavors! Among our favorites were the Patatas Bravas, the Crispy Coq au Vin, and the Wild Mushrooms with Grilled Sourdough. Planning to go back for the Chef's Tasting. Plus this restaurant covers 100% of their employees' health insurance!

Seriously, make your way to this place. Multiple times if you can. Some of the best food and cocktails I’ve had in recent memory. The white anchovies on grilled bread made converts out of everyone at the table and the Louisiana crawfish croquettes were so good I wanted a second helping. Service is also top notch. Best dining experience I had in NOLA.

One of the best dinning experiences I’ve had throughout the world. The food was simply exceptional and we tried out almost every dish in the menu. The scallops got me in the sweet spot being the betters I’ve tasted so far.A gigantic shout out to the fellow that waited us named “Amour”. Hands down the most polite and considered waiter I’ve ever encountered. Simply pitch perfect when it comes to customer care!!All and all, if you’re in NOLA, “PLATES” is the place to experience an amazing gastronomical experience while being served by the most considerate people ever!!5 stars because I can’t give out more…

We had reservations at 815 - sat and ordered around 830ish - food didn't arrive until 1020ish! The food was gross. We got the chefs tasting menu - Her/His recommendations are trash. Every round of food was bland, vinegar-y, and had a horrible texture. The shrimp was gross, the chicken came with some sauce that made the texture inedible, the lamb was burned and the flavor profile was gross. We got some type of fired balls - taste like fried horseradish. On top of that the server was friendly but not forthcoming about the ETA on our food. We ended up getting free drinks but I wouldn't waste my time here. The best thing I put in my mouth was the Strawberry Lemonade Sour cocktail. This is a chili's disguised with a gucci belt. Thankfully the manager only made us pay for our drinks because the service was THAT bad, but I would never come back here. -2/10.

The food here was amazing! We had several small plates I do not remember the proper names on the menu so read on forgivingly. We had a mushroom reduction on freshly toasted bread which turned me into a mushroom lover, delicious! The roasted carrots on a bed of risotto was a perfect blend of flavors. The lamb was prepared perfectly with a spicy seasoning and charred. My favorite were the scallops. So many restaurants over cook scallops, but this chef knew exactly how they should be prepared. The chef was excellent but so was our server, Amour, was so attentive and knowledgeable of all the menu.Plates will not disappoint.

Went for dinner last night. Unique food selections such as white anchovies, crawfish croquettes & Korean wings. Loved the lavender crème brûlée. Happy hour was an absolute bargain. Our bartender, Paula made the meal an unforgettable experience. Don’t miss this opportunity.Greg Highlands Ranch CO
