So slow. Waiting 15 minutes to not get a menu. Saw other family's waiting on menus or drinks that was there before us.

As much as I liked it the first time I went around a year ago, this last time was a bad experience, service awful from the server red hair big woman, I think the worst service I ever experience besides a place in Paris, for I could see she has to be a family member cause she doesn’t clean tables and spent most of the time sat down on her cell phone, I can say she is racist she greeted other tables but me since I am Hispanic and the majority of people were whites that day! I ordered waffles and eggs and in the menu is 11.99 she charged me 12.99 and the coffe 3.99Awful individual!Other thing is the condition of the restaurant, to go to the bathroom you have to cross the kitchen :( I Tully think they need to remodel the place or clean it, I wonder if the health department visit that place ??‍♀️Disappointed

If places could talk, this diner would rock in a chair on their porch and bestow age old wisdom on you, while eating an apple with a knife.

EXCELLENT South Louisiana cooking. Spend more, but why? This place has atmosphere and great food. Enjoy it every time. Haven't had a bad meal yet. Join Adam & his family for some really good food at good prices. Visited again January 28th. Excellent fried catfish with potato salad and a wonderful green bean vegetable. Also another customer had the grilled catfish and it was excellent. 06-13-2023... another wonderful meal and to please you, catfish and potato salad with peas. A tasty gyro with french fries. Very friendly owners

Dropped into the Please-U for a quick breakfast and was so pleased they are still around. This is local spot that has been around for years and years. Walking in is like going back in time to a basic diner that just serves up good food. I love their country fried steak breakfast and French toast breakfast. FYI The way it works here is you order, eat, leave a tip on your table and pay at the cashier at the front.

We were here for breakfast. I didn't feel comfortable here because the restaurant seemed pretty run down. You don't even want to think about what the kitchen looks like. However, the staff was friendly and helpful. The food itself (veggie omelette with hashbrowns and toast) was “quite okay”, but still had room for improvement. Wouldn't go here again.

I wouldn't come back here. Service was terribly slow. It was way too hot in there. The food was bland, my toast came out cold and my bacon was mostly burned or overcooked.

Service- great. Kind staff. Atmosphere- old diner. Food- I got two po-boys to go. One was shrimp, the other was oyster. Both were underwhelming. The shrimp hadn't been cleaned. One of the oysters had gone bad.

Love this place so much! Breakfast always is solid, as are the gyro / pita plates and the poboys.
