This is a mom & pop shop, so don't expect a downtown/French Quarter atmosphere. This food is GREAT! The customer service is GREAT! The cashier makes you feel like family. She's very patient with newcomers. Whether you dine-in or take out, you'll be full and pleased! EH-VUH-REE-THING on the menu is good... you can't go wrong with whatever you order.Parking: If busy, you may have to park around the corner. There's another business, a vegetarian/vegan restaurant, next door, so you're limited with parking. It worth it though!

Pra_Lees on Frenchmen Street is a gem! The food is delicious, and I always make a point to stop in whenever I'm in NOLA. While the Crab Rice isn't on the menu, it's a must-try - it's absolutely delicious! We also enjoyed the Lamb Chops, Crawfish Fries, Shrimp Tacos, and Pineapple Lemonade. Overall, Pra_Lees did not disappoint!

The lady was so sweet! Gave helpful suggestions, was patient, and made a nice drink for me can’t tell you the name but it had me feeling good on my birthday. The catfish dinner omg!!! I ate mine before making it to the hotel. So I didn’t get to take a photo ?.I can’t put into words what the strawberry cake brought to my life but let’s just say, it was so refreshing like my grandma cakes so can’t get enough! A must go.Parking: Had to park on the street.

We waited an hour for a to-go order. We weren't the only ones. Pricey food for a dumpy area. The wait was ridiculous. No service either. Definitely not worth the wait. A/C was off, and it was stifling hot in there. I was a line cook and know how long it takes to make a meal. Even without mise-en-place I could cook that meal at home in less time.

When I say I knew it was going to be good because it was on a social media lately! 10/10 clean. Attentive. And food was WORTH EVERY PENNY. will be back! Asked for specific instruction on order and they in fact made it correctly. And fresh. Met mama lee, she seems like a sweet and super professional lady!
BEST FOOD IVE HAD IN FOREVER; i was nervous about the food bc ive never been and it looked sort of like a local regular restaurant, but THIS WAS MUCH MORE. very delicious food and cute restaurant with games to play while you wait for them to FRESHLY make your delicious food. i was unsure what to get bc the menu had so many DELICIOUS options so i asked Toya (Mama Lee) what i should get and her recommendations were even better than i could’ve asked for. plenty of food, plenty of fun, and plenty of memories with my family today thanks to yall. I will definitely be returning, this place really does it right and i could really type 10 more paragraphs if i could!

Typically Id be pissed that my food took an hour to come out but in this case that wait was 100000% worth it! This was our first dinner stop in New Orleans and definitely set the tone for the next few days. That salmon with shrimp alfredo with broccoli were perfection! Add on that good A$$ pineapple strawberry(or punch) slushie. When they say go to the hood for good food, they aint lying.

We came in from out of town. Heard a lot about the food as this the locals recommended it. Looked at videos, pics, and other reviews. Arrived at the location on a SATURDAY when the hours stated they were open which was 11:30. Were told they would be open at 12:30. We had other plans and planned to come back at after our event to eat here for lunch. We returned at 3:00 and found they were CLOSED again. The hours listed here are confusing and should be updated to ensure people aren't driving here to try the food. I wish we could have tried the food as far as the reviews go. But the times you should arrive here during their hours should be Clearly stated somewhere.
