When we first arrived we were greeted by a very rude older lady with short grown out blonde hair and glasses. She made check in very difficult and luckily we had a laptop to show proof, otherwise we wouldn't of had a room because we were "using a phone" whatever that means. The room was fine, and close to everything we wanted to do.

My wife and I were incredibly disappointed with our check in process. Despite booking in advance, we were made to wait a staggering five hours for our room upon arrival. To make matters worse, when we finally received our room, it was not the one we had originally reserved and the view was facing a brick building. The lack of communication and organization from the staff was deeply frustrating. We expected better service and accommodation for our status we have with Marriott. Overall, our experience was incredibly disappointing, and we would not recommend this hotel to others.

Although my rating is confined to the appearance and vibe of the Lobby area, including the cute restaurant and great bar, first impressions here mean a great deal when hosting out-of-town groups, which they seem to do with the kind of easy style we'd expect - but still appreciate - in NOLA!

Great location for exploring Nola and that's all there is to it. rooms rather average. for over $200 per night I would expect a slightly better standard. apart from that, it's noisy and there's this false fire alarm in the middle of the night...

We stayed here over the past weekend for a formal. Upon arrival, the room was not ready for over two hours. The front desk asked our entire group for our phone numbers to notify us when it would be ready. After waiting for two hours, my date went down to the front desk to check on how much longer as it was already 6pm and we were late for our plans. They told us that the room was suddenly ready after not texting to let us know. This happened to 15 other couples who arrived around the same time we did. After getting to the room, we had to shower where the sink had no cold water and the shower water would turn off and on, hot to cold, until we eventually gave up. The final night of our stay included an emergency alarm at 4 am, telling us to exit to building, until finally turning off as a false claim. This hotel is in a great location as it’s walkable to Canal Street and Bourbon, but I would have liked to have a better experience while staying there.

Staff was very nice and accommodating, stayed there before our Disney Cruise and they help make the trip a magical experience. We would gladly stay there again.

I have stayed at this location two years in a row, and I’m impressed with all of the personnel. The level of service from the front desk staff to the room attendants is stellar. I have particular appreciation for Stephanie from the guest experience team, who was an absolute delight and took extra steps to show care for everyone from our conference. A great experience all around!Rooms: Large rooms with good workspaces and storageFood & drinks: Tacklebox & coffee shop are both spacious and well suited for travellers.

This hotel CANCELLED mine and my husbands reservation without ANY notification and said it is because we came in late and we did not call I’ve NEVER had this issue before and this is a bad start to my vacation I drive eight hours for and to top it off the lady at the front desk was unprofessional and wanted to argue with my husband. I will not be staying here again and I will tell everyone I know not to stay here either!

We had an absolutely amazing experience here. They have certainly trained their staff to create a positive guest experience. From the moment we walked through the door all the way to the in room services, I can’t say enough about the staff at this hotel. Conveniently located to all of the hot spots whether you’re walking or driving, the staff can point you in the right direction for your party. Bradley in particular went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. Can’t wait to go back!

Where to begin…We have come to NOLA so many times and this trip we were here to stay for a business trip. When we checked in, we couldn’t find the valet. We had to go inside and get the front desk to find the valet. Finally about 30 minutes later, we get checked in. We submit our tax exempt form and the front desk calls to tell us it’s not acceptable and we need another one. So we provide it and think it’s taken care of. During the duration of our stay, we don’t get housekeeping everyday, the room is totally outdated, smells weird, and the sheets have stains. We ask the housekeeper for towels and to clean our room and we get major attitude from them. She says we don’t get housekeeping everyday. I ask the front desk and they say we will get it. We only had it 1 day for our 4 night stay and that’s not what was expected.Fast forward to check out and I follow up to get our receipt and they didn’t put in the tax exempt and said they had to “find the form”. We spent 15 minutes on hold to get disconnected. When we finally got it taken care of, we got an attitude from the manager about our form.Let’s just say, we wouldn’t stay here again and we’ve informed the conference owners of our issues and we’ve agreed to choose a different hotel moving forward . As far as location, there were homeless in the valet area and right outside of the doors that would constantly ask for your money. I understand that the street is a common area, but you would think they could get them away from the door so we could walk in.When I asked to speak to the manager about our issues, we were told that our form was taken care of so we shouldn’t need to speak with her. We are gold elite members and even have the Marriott credit card but we are rethinking for future stays.
