This beautiful restaurant went above and beyond during every facet of our dinner. Isaac and Daniel, along with many other members of staff, provided exceptional service. The food was innovative and delicious, and the wine menu was excellent. The décor and ambience were stunning.Vegetarian options: I got the Curry Lemongrass Linguini, which was heavenly.

One of the best dining experiences ever! The food was amazing and the staff was wonderful. We had Kevin and Heath as our server team and they were great! The staff is knowledgeable about the menu and extremely personable. We even got a visit from John Folse himself! I had the lobster onion bisque which was spectacular. The crawfish montegut was my salad selection and was delicious. I also recommend the short rib boudin from the appetizer choice's as it was impressive. My entree selection was the bone in filet and was cooked to perfection. I opted to have it hellcat which was a great choice as it was loaded with seafood and marrow butter. The Brussels sprouts were amazingly tasty and had a touch of sweetness. My dessert was the apple tart tatin and it was light and refreshing. Everything from the service and atmosphere to the food and wine were perfect! I highly recommend visiting this restaurant and I will definitely be back! The host was also wonderful and valet was definitely worth the extra cost.Parking: Definitely use the valet service!

I had a business dinner here, as guest of some our customers. With no doubt I have to admit that has been a fantastic experience! The location is very nice and elegant, indeed they suggest a dress code business casual; there are several rooms with different theme for each one, here I had very good vibes. The staff is super kind and prepared about the menu, ready to reply to any questions…. you will never find them at fault! The menu there are very good proposal on meat and fish base, we went for fish and honestly was a very good choice…. was simply awesome!!The icing on the cake was the wine list, with very unique and precious bottles, we went for two red wine from Columbia Valley….super!I can’t judge the price because we was guest, so was two times good for me!If you have the opportunity to visit NOLA, you cannot not came here, it would be a pity!!!!

Unbelievable. Really. I lived in the French quarter for a few years a couple of decades ago, so I’m accustomed to the fantastic food and service for which New Orleans is known. But Revolution takes everything “up a notch” as Emeril Lagasse famously said. From the minute you sit down to the minute you walk out, everything - service, food, ambiance, and drinks - is absolutely perfect. Get a reservation early if you’re going to New Orleans!

Amazing experience! We've been here 4 times now and it just keeps getting better. Tina and her team took wonderful care of us. Everything we ate was perfection too! The filet was the most tender and flavorful steak, and the lamb chops were spiced just right and so delicious. The lobster bisque and chocolate dessert were also top notch! We will keep coming here on every trip!

45-day aged ribeye, lobster tail, and bone marrow special for $225.00 was the biggest tourist trap of this trip. The steak was supposed to be cooked medium rare. I can live with a little undercook, but it was dark red and cold. It was so tough that I had to saw through it with my knife. It was tasteless, and the cooks definitely didn't let it finish in the oven long enough. Huge blobs of unrndered fat and inedible silver skin do not have a good steak make. The bone marrow was nothing more than coagulated fat on a bone. The lobster was nothing special either.Stay away from the blue crab beneighs ... unless you like greasy, tasteless balls of dough. The service was excellent as was the 'Death by Gumbo'. Best gumbo I've ever had. The quail in it, as well as the soup itself, were surreal in their flavor. The wine list is extensive, even if I couldn't afford most of it. The sommelier is bound to find something you like and can afford as he did with my GF and me.Didn't have dessert as we were pretty upset with the quality of the food and the 400+ dollar tab. There are too many other places in N.O. to spend our money on that actually have good food and not near the pretense.Oh, and don't pay any attention to the dress code (smart casual). They will literally let people in wearing jeans and hoodies.

I went to several restaurants in the area, including Galatoire and Toups' Meatery in a short amount of time. I've also been to several Michelin star and mentioned restaurants in France and had thought up until coming to Restaurant R'evolution I had my best meal in France with a 7 course small portions meal. This place beat those, easily. This isn't set up to be a 7 or 9 course meal, but me and my dinner companion made it into 1. We started with the Death by Gumbo, which very much lives up to the name (my favorite), along with the turtle soup, reduction sauces topping oysters with caviar, lobster bisque, crab beignets, and finished with what we considered the main course with 2 small portions of pasta via lobster gnocchi and the crab taglettelia, sided with waygu potatoes and smoked mushrooms. I went with intention to order more than could eat, but the waiter shared that each dish is welcome to be split and served family style (pending the item). For example the quail was cut in half for the Death by Gumbo, but can easily be a smaller main course dish whole. The meal was complete with a small peanut butter chocolate cake (very sweet and rich, but portioned perfectly so as to not be too much) and a small vanilla ice cream. Do not be afraid to ask the wait staff questions they are super friendly, love their jobs, and will gladly answer any questions you may have on preferences. I will be sure to make it back here every time I visit New Orleans. The atmosphere is fine dining, with dimmed lighting and candle lit tables. Wait staff is the best, thank you for making my birthday trip end great!

I know it's going to sound crazy but in my opinion, it's easy to fall into a tourist trap in the city of New Orleans, especially when it comes to food. I went here during Halloween 2022 to be exact, my best friend got engaged at the Royal Sonesta so we made a reservation at this restaurant and MY GOD did this menu do a 180 since the new chef took over. To top it off I had some of the best service/experiences with Rory the gentleman who took care of our table. He was fun/knowledgeable about the food and city, and he made our experience entertaining, pleasant, articulate and immaculate. That man could be running/managing the Four Seasons Staff with his upbeat and professional attitude! The food was amazing, flavorful, creative, fun and sensational. I am shocked how much this restaurant flipped in the matter of a 1.5 year span of time. The steak was amazing extremely memorable!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Swanky set up off of Bienville with great ambiance! Service was friendly. Food was.... Revolutionary for sure! :) Innovative creations based on traditional local menu. My favorite was lamb chop, short ribs, Brussels sprouts and maple bread pudding with coffee ice cream. Death by gumbo was a new interpretation of the original. Cute name and great presentation. But not my favorite flavor wise. Seared foie gras... I've had better. And hey, I don't have to have the most innovative recipe. I am happy with simple recipes executed to perfection ;) Would I go back? Maybe if there is something else that is irresistible. Until then, I will enjoy tried and true recipes done right.
