We weren't even residents at this hotel but we had 2 amazing meals at the Rib Room!We had lunch sitting at the bar one day, right next to the live jazz band that is fantastic! We had the crawfish Étouffée and the rib debris po boy. Everything was delicious! We also had an amazing bartender named Wil who was very attentive, kind and funny! We came back the next day for brunch and had the avocado toast, the cheese grits and the debris omelette. Once again, everything was delicious.

Awesome spot with a great vibe, and Megan was just amazing! She made us feel so welcome. What a great person she is! The service was on point, and those martinis with blue cheese olives were next level…Really made our night special!

I wouldn't know how the food was because I was completely ignored. I went this evening for a bite, asked the host if I could sit at the bar and eat, he said yes. I sat down and was ignored for at least 5 min, the bar was not busy at all there were maybe 6 people total including myself! FInally a woman came up to me said hi and I asked if I could see a menu, she gave me one and proceeded to clean up around me, helped several other patrons at the bar, I sat there another 5-7min with NOTHING in front of me, not even offered a water! I finally just left after I saw 4 men being attended to, they already had drinks and water! Then I saw another man being offered a refill on his wine to seats awsy from me, I was thinking this cannot be real, do they not see me? There was three people behind the bar. This was offensive and will spread the word not to bother going if your a woman eating alone, plain and simple rude and uncalled for. I was there early in the evening the dinning room wasn't even a little busy. In total I waited almost 15 min to see if anyone would come and apologize and take my order. Don't waste your time!

Very good steak, pretty good egg/fried oyster appetizer and Caesar salad. Food a little salty. Very good red wine selection.Felt a little awkward dining there by myself. Waiter wasn't paying full attention; he took the drink menu after I had asked him to leave it with me.

Fantastic dinner. Food was amazing but the service was the highlight! Arti was helping us tonight and was so insightful and attentive. We had a great experience with a beautiful view!

Best Jazz brunch I've ever been to(I've been to a bunch) and one of the restaurants in New Orleans! The crawfish quesadillas were amazing, the rib roast omelette was to die for and you can never go wrong with $20 bottomless mimosas or bottomless mimosas! However, the best thing about the restaurant was the service, top notch, thank you so much for making my birthday!!!

My husband and I went for brunch on a Sunday at noonish. Nice jazz band. Hardly any people in the restaurant. The restaurant is beautiful and the service was excellent. I ordered a burger and fries. It was overcooked and the fries were cold. I'd say definitely not a $20 burger. My husband had the crab Eggs Benedict. It was tasty but not hot. I'm glad we tried it but probably wouldn't go there again. The aesthetics are great but the food is not special.

Went for dinner on a Monday night with coworkers, we’re all also staying at the hotel. Reservation at 7:15, sat around 7:20. No one came by the table to even take appetizer orders for at least 20 minutes. A guy eventually came over with bread in that 20 mins and we asked him for our server.I speak for the whole table when I say the overall service was subpar for the price, we each spent $50-100 to only have water filled once, if that, and a hefty wait in between ordering, receiving food, and checks. My check was also incorrect which ended up costing an extra 15 mins to fix that. Food was ok, but it’s not worth the languishing service attitude and several mistakes on the orders. All in all, we were out a little after 9 and exhausted as we have to work each day starting at 6am. Likely won’t be back unless it’s room service or bar food.Edit: I genuinely didn’t expect this review to carry any weight in the world at all, not even in the slightest. I assumed it would get lost within all reviews never to be seen again. But within hours of me posting the hotel set out to make it right which is crazy. Also, I didn’t realize the hotel is so involved with the restaurant or even cared what went on in it! Anyway, I gave a couple stars back for their trouble to do so, thank you!

Stopped in for a drink last week after the parades. Christine was an awesome bartender and provided great service especially after some rowdy customers tried to skip the line. I would definitely recommend coming here for a drink.

Stopped on for breakfast: chicken and waffles, smoked salmon bagel and crawfish quesadilla with sides of grits and a sausage.

Our steaks were very good. Service was a bit slow, but good. Wine list was ok, but not great. The bread was served in a bag - would have been nicer in a basket at a place like this. It is a nice restaurant and overall a good experience. Whatever you do, do not ignore the warnings on the horseradish - it is crazy hot!!!

very nice dining room, had a 7:45pm reservation for 4 of us. The server was wonderful, the food was disappointing. It was not hot, the appetizer that was supposed to be served hot was actually very cold. The Queen portion of Prime Rib was paper thin and the loaded baked potato was hard and not cooked through fully. I expected better.
