OMG! It was absolutely delicious. I ordered the 6" roast beef poboy. I've been back in Louisiana for a month and besides the crawfish boudoin I have had, this was my first true taste of home, from a restaurant. Lots of good food, but this was authentic ??

This is a classic New Orleans PoBoy spot. Don't go for the ambiance or service. It's a walk up counter. But the PoBoy's are NEXT LEVEL! I had the Shrimp PoBoy and it was fantastic. The shrimp was fresh, crisp and large. The bread was so fresh and light! Totally satisfied my need for a New Orleans PoBoy fix!

I had the cabbage n rice. A little bland for my taste, but I added hot sauce and it was good. Hubby's roast beef poboy good. Will be back.

Omg when I am home and Sammy's is open. It's my go to spot for a reasonable priced meal with flavor.
Employees are the nicest, the food is always good, never have been disappointed, and the prices might even keep you on budget.
