There’s no better arcade in the city than Sea Cave. All you can play, plus the full bar and food menu is great.

This one is for all you old school arcade nerds out there! As for me, I'm just here for the underwater vibes (how cool is that theme BTW?) and bubbly by the glass. Vegan options noted. These make a ton of sense for you to be gobbling down in between turns at Ms Pac Man (to be transparent, I don't even know if they have Ms. Pac Man. I ask that you look at other reviews to see what they've got going on as far the games go). Think finger foods and the like. I also read that you pay for a wristband to play whatever you want. Little me is mad at adult me for not taking advantage of this as it was all quarters back in the 80s and you ran out of those fast. A super cute and fun addition to the St. Claude corridor. I'll definitely stop in again.

They have The Sims 1 or 2 (can't remember which)! I could base my review on that alone, but, alas, there are other reasons for frequenting Sea Cave: -Super Nintendo and other consoles on vintage TVs -Great service -Excellent DJ that spurred an instant friendship between 2 people in our party bc of their Danzig/disco mashup -Good snacks (fries are good) with a lot of vegan options -Seashells on the ceiling

This place is a vibe. Dimly lit, always a good movie on at the bar. Very solid drink and food specials nightly. Love the sliders. Enjoyed playing nostalgic arcade games from the 70s/80s.

I would have died if not for the awesome staff.

Honestly not my favorite barcade experience. While the place was fun and has a good vibe, their selection was limited. When I went all the games with accessory controllers, ie steering wheel, gun etc were down. It is cool that they have emulators that'll allow you to select from a menu of games. Controls for some were wonky. They also have several consoles to play on. There was no cover and the games didn't require tokens so not too upset. I liked them better than the place down the road. Didn't hangout long, this was towards the end of a long crawl through Frenchman and down St Claude. Maybe next time more things will be up and running.

I went here only for the food as I heard they had a Hawaiian (inspired?) menu. Look, it was awful, the tofu was terrible, how can you just not flavor tofu, cut it into large chunks and over airfry it y'all?? So beware if you're looking for snacks because this place will surely disappoint. The rest in my party found their various dishes lacking in taste as well. But I'm giving it 4 stars because it's a small local business and I'm not here to crap on small local businesses. Food is obviously an after thought at this place; in a city that requires bars serve food if they want a new liquor license. Oh yeah but the specialty drinks are overpriced AND didn't have prices on the menu. Wasn't a fan of the bartenders attitude either. But hey, everyone seems to love this place for the games, so if that's you're thing and you're just trying to drink a PBR, Godspeed.

I really love to support local places but this place left alot to be desired.Half the games didn’t work, the food menu was .. an odd selection, and the drinks were “okay” to say the least.$8 for unlimited play seems like a deal to begin with but other arcades in the city are actually cheaper ( my friends and I have been to a couple arcades in Nola. As a group we go through about $15-$20 worth of tokens each time we go out. So it ends up being $5 each- while that’s not unlimited, we are usually all played out by that amount)When you add it all up:Games - mostly brokenFood- odd menu and the taste was not something to write home aboutAtmosphere- the obvious regulars weren’t welcoming at all. Really small place.Wanted to love it but didn’t

Amazing experience . Nice host - cool bartender. Beautiful vibe. Loved how I could play them all with one wrist band. And loved that they had a hideaway patio. Oh and all the cool little nic nacs. And Pac-Man and old computer game. Like yesssssMy type of vibe! I will most def be back and tell all my friends like I’m a full time promoter lol! 10/10 oh and I’m not a person who likes mixed drinks so at first I thought it was a little watery or tart.. but I was wrong. That drink def hit by the time we settled down. A+ place

This place is an absolute gem in New Orleans. I'll be back and I'll always recommend it. Fun, friendly and affordable. Went there for a specific game and they had 10k to choose from! Owner was kind and professional as well! Good job y'all!
