For Italian, go to Sofia. On our first night on a six-day-trip to New Orleans, we walked into Sofia on a Friday evening around 8 p.m. and got a table for four on their outdoor patio. Service was attentive and kind and the food was amazing.To feed four, we ordered the meatballs (for our seven-year-old daughter), the crispy potatoes, bruschetta, and picante pizza, and the pizza with blackberries on it. Everything was full of flavor, but the pizzas stole the show with its unique ingredient combo and hot, chewy crust.We also enjoyed the cocktails. The cocktail with pear puree was balanced and refreshing on a warm evening. Our glasses were also kept full with cold water.Compared to Washington, D.C. prices, our meal and drinks cost less.

Went in for brunch and the mimosa took me out all I could taste was the champagne, so I only had one and I couldn’t even finish it, the spicy pizza was delicious and their eggs in purgatory were tasty. They came with a side of sliced toast and I’m not going to lie it’s the best damn bread I’ve had In my life. Buttery and crunchy but not soggy!! I wish I would have tried the avocado toast so next time I will definitely get down on that. I also had their cinnamon pancakes and they were so mouth watering. I recommend the wait because it’s worth it. The staff is also friendly and on point with their service despite being so busy.

I had the best focaccia here in my life (no one), the pasta was also impeccably delicious, and we, who have Asian tastes, were also very satisfied with it! It was such a delicious restaurant to have our first meal after getting off the plane. I can only say that I am very happy

Do not pass up Sofia on your visit to NOLA. Wow!!! The food is incredible. Tiberius was our waiter and took excellent care of us with incredible recommendations and incorporated details about the house-made ingredients. The atmosphere was lively, yet intimate. Blown away impressed with this spot!
We really enjoyed Sofia. The hazelnut sour was delicious. We started with the Ricotta appetizer, it was very good, especially the focaccia which was warm and light. I had the pesto pasta with chicken, it was delicious. My husband had the commendatore pizza, it was light, crispy, and flavorful. We were surprised at how few people were there on a Sunday night, the food was so fresh and well prepared that I would expect them to be on a wait. Service was also prompt, professional, and friendly. We would love to go back!

Dined with a group of 6 on a high top table and it was great. Everything we ate was delicious and the service was also top. Waited a bit to be seated but nothing crazy. Ordered the carpaccio, the ricotta, the salsiccia pizza, the commendatore pizza and the ragu pasta. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend.
