I live in the neighborhood with my two daughters and we visit here pretty often. The couple who runs this place is very sweet & kind. This is the only place near here that I order fried food from because it always tastes like fresh grease. You know how sometimes you go to a place and order a shrimp po boy but you can taste all the chicken and fish that’s been fried in the same grease? Well the reason I love this place so much is that the grease always, always, ALWAYS tastes like your food was the only thing fried in it. It’s very clean. The couple has been watching my kids grow up (they were in elementary school when I first moved here and are headed to high school now) and always have the nicest things to say to us. The fried rice is very high quality. The seafood is seasoned like a black great uncle with Jesus sandals boiled it. (That’s gonna make sense to some of you lol) There’s an adult male who works sometimes who I’ve assumed is their son. He’s pretty easy on the eyes and doesn’t talk much, but I don’t see him too often. Upon exiting, make sure to PULL. Despite there being a sign that says ‘pull’ you’re gonna wanna push based on the way the door looks. That door has checked me plenty times lolKid-friendliness: My kids love coming here. The couple is very kind and will entertain two tweens talking their ears off about things that I’m sure they do not care about lol. But they will pretend to be so into every word anyway and it warms my heart. They always want to stop here for ice cream and chat with the couple

We picked up the best fried shrimp po-boys from here today with tons of quality shrimp, on the right bread, perfectly dressed. And you can't beat the price. Now, we're kicking ourselves for not trying T&T when we lived on nearby Annunciation Street for years; for sure, they would have been our go-to for neighborhood takeout. We'll be back whenever we're ever in the Lower Garden District.Fresh seafood, friendly and family-owned, and clean to boot.

The place itself is run down, not well kept or cleaned often. The equipment looks cheap, the food looks old or not fresh. They don't provide many grocery items. This is more of a buffet style grocery store with nowhere to eat.

The area looked sketchy and I am still giving it 5 stars because the food was delicious and the employees were great. I went there 3 times on a five day trip.

Killer Catfish Po' boy. This is what a Catfish Po'Boy is supposed to be. Delicious crispy catfish on a roll that isn't all soggy and stuff. Well dressed, yet lively!

The shrimp po boy was terribly dry and very old. I don’t recommend it.

Large potatoes were not cooked, turkey necks needed seasoning. Staff was nice.

Delicious po-boy! We got the shrimp, catfish, and roast beef - the shrimp was the best but all 3 were great.

It's a get in and get out spot but I suggest finding the closest spot possible to you to start peeling those crawfish. That was the best boil I've bought - great size and taste. Grab napkins and be careful for your clothes and eyes because you will be dripping crawfish juice.
