I went for their special Tequila Dinner on May 8 and I was blown away by every bite, smell, sip, interaction. Every time I leave The Bower I'm already planning my next excuse to come back
Beautiful establishment! The wait staff is very nice. The food was average. Initially it came out cold so they took it back and reheated it for us. I believe they just put the plates in the oven. The food was a little warmer but still not hot. We decided to just stick with it. My ratings for the items we had Beet salad - 10 Cacio de Pepe - 2 Chicken parm - 7 Beef short rib pasta - 5 Bolognese pasta - 9

Really lovely spot, but super noisy as it got crowded. Service was nice, but the server was good but was clearly struggling with a heavy load of customers. We ordered a collection of small plates which were beautifully presented and very good overall.

The ambience of the outdoor patio was great and our service was very good. The food was a little bit disappointing compared to our expectations. Our starters were excellent, but our pasta dishes could have been better. Mine even came out slightly cold.

I had a good experience overall but was annoyed that the table was not cleared between courses. I was clearly finished with my starter and the server left the plate when the main was delivered.
First time here, my friend and I tried the chef's tasting menu and wine pairing and were not disappointed. Each course was amazing and delicious...scallops arrancini , beet salad , gulf fish and a decadent chocolate dessert and the wines were a perfect complement. Portions were generous and arrived well timed. I also found the price for both well worth it. The ambiance was wonderful as the restaurant lends itself to a great dining experience and service was professional and on point. Looking forward to dining again in the future. What a wonderful experience it was. Thanks!

Both meals were delicious although a bit spicy for our taste, but this is New Orleans. Generous portions, expensive but worth the price for unique selections. We opted to be seated outside & it was quite loud with happy hour after work groups.

The food was good. Had four small plates-oysters, shrimp, potatoes and beet and heirloom carrot salad. However service was goofy (technical term?). First server was replaced in middle of meal after we were brought wrong dish. Then we were brought another dish we didn't order. Then toward the end of the meal we were offered bread.

Definitely a great event space. The process could not have been simpler. They sent over a one pager with prices and you had a minimum to meet, and the cancellation terms were more than fair. They were great at answering all our questions and very helpful. A no-brainer if you can afford the price. Thanks, Nancy!
Wonderful food, great service and the food was epic. Dont miss out on this location! Its great for charcuterie and thier entrees will blow your mind. Add cocktails and you are all set for a good time.
The food tasted delicious! I thought The Sunday was especially tasty while the Bolognese and Veal were fantastic as well. Highly recommended and we'll be back next time we're in NOLA!
