8 years later and it's still.my fav BBQ place. Only thing I would change, would be one of the bartenders. Her drink could use some work. But we get the 3.meat platter, brisket, sausage and pulled pork. Man, absolutely awesome.

Brisket was dry and tough. Ribs were ok pulled pork and Chicken were good. Key lime and peanut butter pie were good. Wouldn’t bother going back.

*** UPDATE***Made it back. 7 years later, I remembered how much I liked this place. I'm glad to see it still standing and it seems popular. The food is just as good as I remember. Hopefully I can make it back to NOLA sooner than another 7 years, to come back. But either way, it deserves all its success. 10/10.Fantastic food! Definitely will be back here. All the meat was super tender and delicious.

GREAT BBQ spot. Awesome selection of meats, pies, and sides. I got the pulled pork and mac and cheese (pictured) but we also had some amazing baked beans, corn bread, ribs, and burnt bits in my group and all ate in happy, fulfilled silence as we enjoyed some really really good food. Staff were all friendly and efficient. Everything was clean. Great price for food and drinks

Ribs 8.4/10great bark, well trimmed, good dry rub. The best ribs in New Orleans so far.Baked Beans 8.2/10They are non traditional small white beans with a sweet smokey sauce and pulled pork slow cooked into them. Surprisingly good with a lighter texture than traditional baked beans.Mack and cheese 4.0/10.It's a fine Mac and cheese, but I would steer towards another side on my next visit.Parish Canebrake 9.0/10A light, crisp, clean local brew that pairs perfectly with the smokey meats.

Highly Recommended! We went to The Joint after three other restaurants were closed.Wow....Google reviews work! The food was great and it was after 8pm when we ordered.Others in our group had ribs and chicken meals, which they gave a grade of A+.I had potato salad A+, mac and cheese B, and cornbread muffins A. The customer service was good and quick. You will not be disappointed.

Beef was kinda plain, burnt end was way too salty, flavor wasn’t all bad tho. We won’t come back.
