Was with my family and service was horrible. Couldnt get drinks or utensils. Food came and had to use crawfish claws to eat. Asked multiple times to order more food and was ignored cause waitress was on a facetime call. When i asked for check i got yelled at, cursed at for being rude and waitress threatened to hit me. Needless to say it ruined the whole dinner and i was embarrassed even though i did nothing wrong. Even laughed and joked when she brought me someone elses food. Shame cause food was really good.

Lots of good food at a good price in the heart of the French Quarter. The only knock was that the bathroom was not the greatest. We had a great server in Duane. He smiled, was patient and gave some on-point recommendations.

Worse dining experience of my life. Definitely- ⭐️ if I could. Service was bad, restroom was bad, & the food was so horrible I was sick immediately after eating just a few bites!! I’d rather burn my $100+ spent there than eat there again. 1st time visiting New Orleans & this experience completely ruined it for me & my family. We walked in & the vibe wasn’t friendly at all. I should have known to trust my gut feeling. The server coldly handed us menus & left. I was debating if we should leave cuz he didn’t come back for like 15mins, but I wanted to give him another chance. He quickly took our orders & left with a cold expression. My son ordered dirty rice & he said we don’t have that. So I’m like ok maybe he’s having a bad day it’s whatever. Wrong!! While waiting for our food, I went to use the restroom. Doors were broken for both stalls. Toilet paper roll on the ground & one didn’t even have toilet paper. There was no soap or paper towels. It was so sketchy, I decided to hold myself until we got to another bathroom. When we finally got our food it didn’t look bad but after tasting the food I felt sick right away. And wasn’t sure if it was just me. But nope!! Tried the jambalaya rice & it tasted like sour partially uncooked rice. Horrible!! Took a few bites of my seafood boiled. The potato & corn textured seemed ok but the flavor was very strange. You’d think since Louisiana is know for their seafood boils it’ll be at least edible. I don’t know what seasoning they put in their seafood boiled, but ????. I ate one shrimp & it tasted like I was eating raw stanky fish. I had a few other people tried it & said it was bad too. I immediately decided we shouldn’t eat anymore of our food. I didn’t don’t want us to get food poisoning since we were on a road trip & had many stops to go yet. Our bill was $100+ for the most nastiest food ever. My husband was so kind he still left a tip despite how horrible everything was. I literally was trying hard not to vomit as we were walking out of the restaurant. I barely made it out before vomiting outside & on the way to the public restroom a few blocks away. It was so bad I couldn’t get rid of that nasty taste in my mouth. I drank half a bottle of coke & ate ice cream to cleanse my palate. Finally stopped my urges to vomit. My hands stank like raw fish even after washing my hands 20 times at 5 different bathrooms. I have never left a online review for a restaurant before, but I want to warn people about how horrible this experience was. It’s so sad that there was absolutely nothing good about this restaurant. Try it at your own risk.

Historic and centrally located, sitting outside, or inside up or down stairs is nice. The 120ish year old building has charm and knowing it’s family owned since the 60s isn’t bad either. Prices were decent for downtown. Bathrooms were ok. The food had great seasoning, full of flavor and did a good job filling me up with the amount ordered. My dinner guests were just as pleased with their food. Only ding was at the beginning we ordered dessert to come after our meal, but it never came and not on the bill so we paid and didn’t bring it up, next time we will try it.

French market restaurant and barNot worth the hype. Crawfish etoufee was meh--bland seasoning and chewy crawfish. Shrimp creole was meh---bland seasoning and the Shrimp did not taste fresh at all. There was a distinct previously frozen taste. Jambalaya was very very dry and the sausage was burned.Felt rushed by the waiter. Fumes from the seafood seasoning permeated the restaurant unlike any other restaurant I've been to before and made us sneeze frequently and made our eyes water.Bathroom was atrocious. Toilet paper was on the floor and the floor was wet.Positives--oysters were good and the boiled shrimp was good.

We frequent New Orleans. Unfortunately this was our worst stop. We got a couple of pounds of crawfish and over half of them were mushy and disgusting. The other Mayjor turn off was the way they shun local distilleries. When we come to New Orleans, we want a New Orleans experience. Tito’s is for Texas.

We ordered the snow crab boil and it was beyond disappointing. It was overcooked without any spices besides a huge amount of salt, and very overpriced compared to other places nearby. Our server didn’t seem bothered to provide service, one of our dishes never came and still showed up on the bill without any apologies or excuses.

Stopped in here after visiting the market. Fresh oysters shucked in front of you. Char grilled oysters were to die for.The food was amazing but the staff made this an experience to remember. Jeff and Buddha kept us entertained from the min we walked in till we left. They taught me how to eat crawfish and everything I ever wanted to know about gulf oysters. Don’t walk by this place without stopping in!!!!!You guys made are day truly memorable!

Sat and waited 45 min to have my order taken. Server made eye contact with me multiple times and never even took my beverage order. Then the same exact Server was beyond rude to another table next to me. Swearing at them etc.Not the place I would eat. Let alone bring children. Find a better spot for food than this.

Ok. At this point I wish I could erase any and all other 5 star ratings because this place here…untouchable! We had both lunch and dinner here yesterday to have another go at the food. We went back for dinner again today. The food was so good today too! I don’t think there’s a bad or mediocre dish on their menu! If we had more time in NOLA we’d probable come back and try a different dish but we have to go back home in the morning. We will definitely come back to visit this restaurant and the staff!
