Service below average. Set menu which was set to low standards. Table set wrong and owners had to sit at a separate 2 top. Told we could hanging out in the courtyard, then told it was private. Really just not a good showing from a restaurant we had higher hopes for.

The layers of flavor in the gumbo is a "must try" for any gumbo fan. Served in a large empty bowl, but with a quail off to one side. The server pours the hot gumbo broth over the quail. Rice and goodness is the quail and all that is stuffed within. The soup is amazing, again the layers and depth of flavor. Bread might be nice, but would soften the punch of flavor of the broth. Super good stuff here. Not filling as a meal just fyi

This was highly recommended by a friend, and he was so right. The Revolution is fantastic. Great food, delectable cocktails, cool atmosphere and attentive staff. Consider the Expo Bar experience for a unique and worthwhile evening.

This bar made the best drinks in new orleans, and I believe the best martini I've ever had! I've told many friends about it since. We will be back!

So we had a fraternity event to commemorate our founding. Overall the turn out was great and the music playing was a great mix. One major thing I noticed s one of the waitresses was up charging our drinks to give her self a larger tip. For example, one brother was charged on the receipt around $9.00, the drink from what he described wasn't filled to the right capacity but he still gave her 20% (as anyone should at the very least), After checking his account he noticed we was actually charged $30. He obviously had to have the transaction credited but this shouldn't happen. This isn't the first time I've heard of something like this at this venue and I'm curious if this is something this employee or employees have done often in the past. If you like this venue, I suggest paying in cash, especially if the waitresses are taking waaaay too long with your card in hand. Having worked in food services before, it doesn't take long to pick what was ordered, swipe and print the ticket. If I go back, I'll bring cash, otherwise, Watch Out!
