Went on Stake Night and it was fantastic! One of the best steaks I have had!
This is not fancy, this is an epically perfect dive bar. We headed here in NOLA to watch MSU game for the tournament. There were plenty of TVs, comfortable seating, and we sat right at the bar. Bartender was attentive, knowledgeable, and hilarious. Also the drinks are NOT weak! The food was totally perfect, definitely recommend the pizza and the potato skins. We did a lot while in New Orleans but this was one of our fav experiences.

Meh! Although we got our food incorrectly (my wife ordering: a bacon cheeseburger please. The order taker: "bacon cheese burger?". My wife: "yes". ). My wife walks to the restaurant, lady says she will check that order is correct and complete. My wife get back to hotel. No Bacon. People suck.

Steak was perfectly cooked . Crawfish were well seasoned and Spicy. Must try .
Service was fast and friendly! Food was delicious. We tried the cheese sticks, 1/2 lb burger, ribeye, gumbo, and pulled pork potato skins. The pulled pork potato skins was the star. Soooooo good. We will definitely be back.

The food was fast and amazing!! However the server, Joan B. Insisted that she get her tip prior to serving the food. We bought drinks and food and she indicated that she gets her tips upfront. Once we received our food she then tapped my family member on the shoulder and said don't forget her tip. She then told another customer that she doesn't serve drinks for free or without a tip and Insisted that we wouldn't tip. However, we still tipped but her service and attitude was unprofessional. She talked herself out of a tip that could have been more but oh well.

After ordering drinks from the bar with Joan , we were told by another guest that she was unhappy we didn’t tip on the shots we ordered. We hadn’t even ordered food yet and were still currently sitting down. She then proceeded to try and keep stopping by insisting we leave her a tip, and how that’s how employees normally act when they aren’t tipped. This was EXTREMELY disrespectful and rude… we wereGoing to tip her after we finished getting our FULL SERVICE. Because of her we probably willNot be back. She made us feel very uncomfortable and unwanted in this establishment. The restaurant also smelled of dirty mopWater and the restrooms were EXTREMELY DIRTY… management should Definitely speak with her about bad mouthing guest to Other guest.

Stets was a good sport! I only had the fried mushrooms but considering it's not something you can eat at many places and have it taste good, I was pretty happy. They were nice and crispy, yum! I hear the steak is really good, I couldn't tell you though.
