Great concept but the music is terrible and makes no sense. Either stick to the theme and play vintage rock or play stuff that appeals to the crowd there.

Stopped here for a stop on a bar crawl and after a pelicans game. Both times were fun! The crowd has been fun and enjoyable, and the music is a blast from the past. They play all the top rock hits from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. It can be a bit loud on the dance floor, so I recommend ear plugs if you want to dance all night. Staff was great to us, and we’ve talked up the spot. Would recommend!

The manager and bouncers were terrible. Unnecessarily aggressive and harassed myself & my husband. We were there for a small 80’s HS class reunion. We will never go back and discourage anyone else from going. After the traumatic experience at the Vintage Rock Club we returned to the Hotel Monteleone where we enjoyed a fabulous jazz group, fantastic customer service and a lovely stay in our suite. So, happy we didn’t let the horrible experience at this club ruin our time in NOLA.

We closed them down twice. So much fun. Each time we went with a group and had a wonderful time.

Love the music and videos played so much. Security is getting out of hand. Very rude, impatient, and not wanting to hear any type of explanation. I have had multiple issues on different nights with security. I have never been treated so poorly at a bar multiple times before. I have taken up for this place for a while, but I am over it. A bar is where people go to relax and enjoy their time, not to walk on eggshells and be afraid of their every move. If you read past reviews, the one stars are mostly about security. Yikes.

A unique spot, that is easy to miss. On this occasion we had come straight from a wedding so we were throughly overdressed. The vibe in this place is good. With loud old school rock music, video screens and lighting really setting the scene. Overall it was a good time.So why the 2 stars? Well the problem is they stole from me. Not money or anything or intrinsic value, but they stole my nonetheless. Like I said we're had just come from a wedding and at that wedding we were given light up items, boa's etc. One such item was a light up tambourine, a really cool item to bring back to our kid. Alas after being at Vintage Rock Club for 30 minutes or so a man I assume was a bouncer grabbed my arm and told me I needed to remove the tambourine (it was around my wrist), I asked him why, he said I was not allowed to have it, I asked him why, he created himself, I asked if I could just put it in my pocket, he repeated himself again. Not wanted trouble, or to ruin your the night I removed it because this is guy seemed on edge and never looked me in the eye. He took it and placed it on behind the bar. After a feeling minutes I asked a bartender if I could get it back and put it in my pocket, no harm no foul. She was uneasy at that request as she didn't want to upset "security" but she said she would give to me when we left.Fast forward about another 30 minutes and the tambourine was gone, the bartender looked for it but it was gone. It's a minor gripe, sure, it's just a small item, but the principal of the matter is at play here. A man treated me like a child, didn't use reason or commonsense it even explain himself. He took something from me because he could.I don't go downtown a lot, and beside this experience with this hollowman I actually had a good time.

We came here for my friend's bachelorette party and had so much fun!! We had a VIP section with bottle service. The music was great, and music videos on the big screen made it extra fun! The drinks were delicious, the staff was attentive, and we all felt safe.

Came here for my friend's bachelorette and we had a blast dancing and singing along to songs I hadn't heard in years! Very fun & festive place, would love to come back in warm weather and enjoy the balcony too. The crowd was in good spirits, with everyone dancing. Good place for parties

I didn't know about this hidden gem until I had my bachelorette party here earlier this month. My girls and I got the VIP package, and man was it amazing. Let's just say we're over 30, so having an entire couch to sit on when our feet got tired was of primary importance. The entire VIP section was roped off, so we (mostly) didn't have to deal with creepers and we received bottle service! The music was an absolute dream. One of my girls requested Lizzo, and the DJ told her that's too modern, and I'm not mad at him!! To top off the awesome hits, the original music videos play on a wall-sized screen. It really adds context to those oldies!! All in all a fantastic night!! Everyone in my party raved about Vintage Rock Club and I will be back!!I just read a few other reviews today and not for nothing; there is a very specific dress code on their website. My krewe was prepared!

I found Vintage Rock Club as a potential event space for our National Sales Kick off meeting. Our team was about 70 people and the space, music and environment was perfect for what we needed after a long week of workshops. DJ Tony - amazing, Victoria - organized host and helped make our event perfect and the bar team was phenomenal. They even let us bring our cornhole sets in to play, drink and enjoy the music. Our team definitely would recommend! - Elizabeth C. Bosch
