While in NOLA we always stop here and are always happy with the food, service and atmosphere in general. It’s enough away from the Bourbon atmosphere but close enough at the same, if you have a preference. It was clean, fast and friendly. All good!

I came here mid week and had a wonderful server who was so sweet and friendly. I ordered three items and loved ALL of them so much. I wouldn’t have normally come here because it looks like a chain, and I was looking for authentic food and boy was I wrong. I think I got the shrimp and grits, gumbo and dessert with a sweet tea and was very satisfied. One of the better items I had while I was out here.
Love the "Walk-On's" restaurant chain. I visit them when traveling if one is in the vicinity. Loved this one...The right atmosphere in the right town, NOLA of course. You know...??? Will visit again, planning on it! I had a great time...food, staff & drinks...all good ??

I sent an email about our experience. We came down from Ohio. After a long drive from our last location wanted something local and close to our hotel. Not many places were still open. The food and reviews made it promising. We went in shortly after 10pm (party of 8) and was seated in a backroom. After 15 minutes my sister and her boyfriend went to the bar to get drinks and see what was going on. She said the bartender was the only nice person there. She wasn't too sure who was out on the floor. After about 10:58pm and several workers passing by not once asking if we needed drinks or food we decided to order our food online. I kind of wish we took our $120+ elsewhere. I went to the front desk to pick up my order and mentioned to the guy we had waited an hour without being served and he said "sorry 'bout that" and walked away. I thought he should of been up there to begin with cause he at least communicated to people walking in that they were only serving food at the bar (at that point it was after 11:15). My sister questioned if it was because we were Asian or looked from out of town. I think it was just poor service. I am disappointed to the point where I wouldn't return. ?♀️ My sister and her boyfriend went back up to the bar to get drinks and the bartender was shocked that whole time we hadn't been served. She told my sister if she had known she would of served her herself. We got back to the hotel and the food was alright. My daughters' sliders and burger looked good. The fries were seasoned too much. My sister paid for drinks and completely forgot until we got to our hotel (they weren't included with her order). We were just wanting our food and to get out of there so we could eat.

The service was the star of the show for lunch. Our server Gabbie knocked it out of the park. She didn't linger, but was there exactly when we needed topped off. The good was middle of the road, but it hit the spot. Clean restaurant. 9/10 recommended.

I was serving name is Nick young man knows his stuff showed a great deal of Customer relation service as a server suggestion on the different food. Menus was pretty accurate. What I had was delicious.
