While working at local schools someone at the school recommended this place to me. I decided to give it a try. It wasn't great but nor was it bad it was good. It satisfied my hunger, no more no less.

Best place to eat in town!!! I got the BBQ chicken it was the best I’ve had in a long time. Love the homemade pies! Really good vibe and it family owned. Very kindhearted people!!! The Mac and cheese was one of the best I’ve had at restaurant. And I finished the whole plate! ?

This is a lunch place, take-out or dine-in. they usually offer two choices of entree, and everything I've had from here over the years has been very good. Adequate parking in irregular aggregate lot. Place always looks clean. Have iced tea, you sweeten it ''to taste'', yourself. Caveat: Some choices can be very ''spicy''. Overall great values. Friendly counter staff. No table service. May close around 2:00PM. Extra; ''LAGNIAPPE'': You could get an oil change or some car repairs done during your lunch break. Rick .

Pork stew on Tuesday is killer good. I highly recommend this joint if you are in the area! Staff was oh yeah awesome. Prices are definitely fair. Dining area is quaint. Be back tomorrow for sure.
