I’m not one to leave reviews but as someone in the business industry and being an upset mama, I feel it’s my place to write one. I placed a Mickey Mouse cake order for my son’s second birthday. I was really looking forward to his birthday cake since he’s obsessed with Mickey Mouse and is finally at the age to get excited about things that he has an interest in. I had my husband pick up the cake on his way home from work. When he got home from work, I looked at the cake and it was Minnie Mouse!!! I know mistakes happen but this could have been completely avoidable. I reminded the lady who took my cake order what I wanted twice and then sent a text message saying exactly what I wanted with pictures. Like any upset customer would do, I called Great American Cookie Co in Port Allen to let them know that they messed up my cake order. The older lady who answered the phone was the least understanding and did not even say one time that she was sorry. If you’re looking for a place with great customer service and customer satisfaction, this is not the place to go. I hope the team members learn how to be understanding and learn from this lesson. I would hate for another mama looking forward to her child’s birthday cake be in this same position.

cookies are not great. ice cream is good.I've had 2 horrible experiences at the Port Allen location within a month. Ordered a $60 cake 3 days out and when arrived to pick it up they had not had my order anywhere or history of it but where I paid that day. manager had to come in and make it for the next day, cake was late to the baby shower event. I went in to order slices with chocolate icing being that I don't like the colorful icing they had out... well they said they don't have cookie dough to do it with while I was look at it on sheets. Then said they never do slices like that and they have never had orders like that, but I have proof of me ordering 2 slices a week ago from that location. lady basically called me a lier. will not be going back they are so unorganized and no one ever knows anything.

Cookies are always stale, hard, and old. I will stick to the Zachary location.

I went here one night because I hadn't been here before. I go in and the workers are standing by the kitchen and not by the register to take orders. The young lady gave me a quick hi. And that was that. Not can I help you or anything? The other chick didn't seem to want to be bothered. Why work here then? I went straight to where they were because as I said, neither one of them came to the counter. Taneisha(the one who assisted me) was standing at the cookies. I asked her how much they cost and she didn't know. I asked her how much another cost. She didn't know, just gave me random prices and tried to consult with the unfriendly woman who works there with her. After paying for the cookies, I noticed that Taneisha went to the other worker saying something and I heard the other chick saying 'I know, she.' I mean, if there was an issue, you could have said it to my face. I noticed the other worker who was White, spoke to the two White men who came in. So you know how that is. I contacted corporate and they didn't answer. So I had to leave their first bad review for them. :-] I've had better cookies with Pillsbury. Do better next time and learn better customer service.

Buyers beware. $2.30-$2.50 per cookie ( not cookie cake slice) so don't expect to drop in and pick up some warm fresh cookies... Mine weren't even fresh. Expect that they only make them when they run out so if they made peanut butter cookies 2 days ago and they haven't sold them all they won't be making more.. expect to pay full price for old cookies. Lol when I rung up 12 cookies and I said wow $2.xx per cookie the employee said yeah it's crazy how much they charge, I wouldn't buy them lol. I tipped and I probably won't be coming back unless they start selling FRESH BAKED.

Boyfriend and I had some night time ice cream craving so we hoped in the car and hurried over to marble slab! The staff was very very nice and we ordered and quickly ate. As we were cleaning up, they were even taking customers after close. I used to work at an ice cream shop ( so we know that struggle is strong at closing time)My banana boat was awesome. I got the chocolate birthday cake which tasted like sweet milk chocolate. I got cookie dough and caramel on top. Boyfriend got the strawberry with strawberry purée mixed in and birthday cake with caramel mixed in on a chocolate waffle bowl. He liked the birthday cake but he didn't like the strawberry ice cream at all. I tasted it, and I didn't mind it. The chocolate dipped waffle bowl did taste just like plastic though. Overall, mine was great and he just didn't like the bowl or strawberries. Staff was super nice and inside was very clean! Come try this place out

I always love to go to the great American cookie company in denham springs. I was excited about getting one in brusly. Its not far from my home.i went there for the first time today expecting the same great service I get from the one in denham springs. To my surprise I got very bad service. Several times they would not wait on me. They waited on other people that came in after me. I finally got one of them to wait on me. They got half my order, put it on the counter and told me they would finish my order after they waited on someone else. I told them I had more things to get. They ignored me. After waiting 30 minutes trying to get them to finish my order one of theworkers told me they did not have the ice cream I wanted. I was looking at it. I am so disappointed. I would make a formal complaint but I cant find a person to contact.

Nice cute shop located on the westside! I went a week after opening. The spot is clean and nicely decorated. I think the flow could be a little better but they are new so I'm hoping they will adjust some things. There were plenty of workers. There was one person running the register for both sides which was a little confusing. There needs to be an Order Here sign. My little one wanted the Cookie Dough YoYo ice cream but after ordering we were told they were out. The friendly employee said he could still make it using vanilla ice cream instead. They had a variety of different flavors. I went to the other side to order cookies but once again there is no order here sign so I was kind of confused on where to stand for cookies. Thankfully a young lady asked me if I needed cookies. The cookie selection was plentiful as well. Overall nice place and nice location. We'll definitely be back.
