Same good food, different name! So glad it's back, love the Gumbalaya! If you stop off of LA 415 on I-10 you will not be disappointed!

I ordered tacos to go and the meat was dry and no flavor. I did not touch the rice and beans because it just did not look right. Waste of money i had to throw the whole plate away and eat me a bowl of cereal instead.

This place is disgusting and not sure what the food is but it's definitely not Mexican. Don't waste your money!!!

I go there twice a week for lunch maybe more. The service is great and the food is amazing. They make their salsa fresh and it is the best i have ever tasted. I always get the fajitas. They are awesome. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Sorry to say but this place ain't no Mexican restaurant. I ordered tacos to go and when I got home I noticed a hard shell tortilla, plus the meat was nasty.... Tortilla chips also smelled awful. Taco Bell is alot better then this place.

First time here. Spoiled salsa. Bland, strange, and dry meat in my enchiladas. Bad tasting queso as well.

I ordered tacos and they were disgusting the meat wasn’t seasoned and it was very dry. The red beans were watery and bland.

The meat tasted terrible, the lettuce was slimy, the beans and rice had no taste. At least the soda machine works.
Wanted Gumbo on the first cool snap here in Louisiana, so drove over to the Jambalaya Pot to get Gumbo, ended up with a first timer, Gumbalaya :) Gumbo served over pastalaya, i never want it with rice again. WONDERFUL MEAL

I guess it depends on the cook. The First time the food was good. Next few times was not very impressed with it at all.

We stopped here on our way from Texas to Florida. The food was delicious! Huge portions, so come hungry! The staff was extremes friendly, as were the locals dining in. We will be back!!

This place has a different name- “Thee Jambalaya Spot” but the food is good and well seasoned. If you have the opportunity to get the pork roast, don’t pass it up!! Portions are large and haven’t had anything that wasn’t on point!
