Snow Crabs

“Folks, don't sleep on this hidden gem in Port Allen, LA... I was in the market for seafood and Locals pointed me to the overrated Fiery Crab on Siegn Lane. The Fiery Crab, Tony Seafood, and countless others can't hold a candle to The Hangout Daiquiris & Sports Bar. The oysters were grilled to perfection and the snow crabs were seasoned just right. Most importantly, the atmosphere was peaceful and the price was below the average market rate.Come check it out for yourself and you be the judge.“

“(Chanting) TJ Ribs, TJ Ribs, TJ Ribs… Some of the best BBQ I have had is not offered in Texas… it’s is Louisiana. The BBQ is better than the thing they are known for and that’s seafood. We are foodies at heart and TJ Ribs speaks to my heart and spirit! Not to mention that the restaurant is rich in history. Some of the biggest sports legends walked through those doors at one point. I have added as many pictures as possible just to give you an idea.If you’re passing through Baton Rouge, stop at TJ Ribs… they won’t disappoint!“

“Had a great time here over the weekend. Great bar atmosphere with lot's of sports television entertainment. Several areas to sit around the bar and near the back. I believe there is a pool table in the front if you're able to get in line to play. Very lively atmosphere at night had a good time with friends. We only had drinks there, we didn't try the food at that time as we had already previously ate dinner.“

CLICKS Billiards - Billiards, Games, Sports, Bar & Grill Sports Bar • $
5124 Corporate Blvd, Baton Rouge

“They've got brand new Diamond tables in there so that's a plus if you play league and are trying to make it to Vegas, since Diamond is what they're playing on in the championship games in Sin City. Atmosphere is more frat house than pool hall, but all the serious players know each other, and we tend to dominate the tables. Drink prices aren't bad and there are a few really great bartenders there, Katherine in particular. Of course there's always that one hooker who can eff it up and leave a bad take in your mouth.... I usually go there if I don't have much else going on, and i know some of my friends are up there running racks.“

“I usually love thai kitchen, but I find their spicy levels have changed. I always got level 3 and had a wonderful hot enough experience to be satisfied. I ordered a 4 and pointed out the lack of spice and more spice was brought separately, but it's not the same when it's not cooked into the noodles. Still loved everything just wish it had a kick to it.“

The Backyard VolleyBall Sports Bar • $$

“We ate there and all of us ordered either Brisket or Baby Back Ribs with 2 sides. All was very good. cook just right and the sides were baked beans (great) and Waffle FF (great), also the Mac/Cheese was good also . They offer a variety of cooked meats and sides along with sandwiches. We are going to go back soon. By the way there were a bunch (100 or so) cars in the parking lot, which is very large and a bunch of space to sit down and enjoy our meal. All the plates ordered came out fast and everything was hot & cooked perfectly. The Beach Volleyball was going on strong.“

Fred's Bar & Grill Bar • $
1184 Bob Pettit Blvd, Baton Rouge

“Damn, what a spot. For game day there is no better place than right here at Fred's. What a great time. The bartender Mathew took awesome care of us and he ran the bar like a boss. How can it get any better when the big man himself is on the grill cooking all the steaks and his wife is keeping it straight on when you get your food. Great times and look forward to going back every time on game day.“
