Good Crawfish. I didn't care for the honey mustard dipping sauce though. I also wish the manager would have allowed me to swap corn and potatoes for sausage. $7.00 for 2 small links of sausage is a little expensive.

Early morning breakfast before my wife and kids woke up. I was impressed they were open so early, but didn't expect much at five in the morning. I couldn't have been more wrong. Walked in to a well lit dining area and was told I could sit where I wanted. Perfect because I hate being sat too close to other diners. Not that there were many there, two large groups of local men enjoying coffee and the latest gossip. Nice atmosphere, I could see myself being one of those guys when I hit the twilight years. A waitress approached with a menu and water in hand, asking what did like to drink after a cheerful "good morning!" A young blonde with a pleasant persona and a welcoming vibe about her. I ordered coffee and she said she'd be back in a few minutes. When she made her way back to my table I was ready to order but I had trouble pronouncing "atchafalya". She caught on to that (or my accent tipped her off ) and she asked "You're not from around here, are ya?" I chuckled a little and she went to give my ticket to the cooks. Wasn't long before my food was sitting right in front of me and damn did it smell and look amazing. Two of the uniquely Cajun Benedicts with a large chunk of alligator sausage on each side. I dug in. Thick fluffy biscuits sat atop crispy and perfectly tart fried green tomatoes which in turn were adorned with two perfectly poached eggs smothered in a homemade creole sauce filled the plate. I didn't know what to expect other than the unexpected. My gut instinct proved to be right as I took my first bite of this swamp born delicacy. Finished it quicker than it took to get to me. And the sausage? Cooked to perfection with an expertly browned outside and a hot, juicy, tender center. The best breakfast I had while visiting the Bayou State. Would definitely revisit if I'm ever in the area; might even drive out of my way to do so.

Great place for brunch. Good menu selections and the staff was accordingly attentive. Out server could sense when we needed space to enjoy our meal and conversation yet made sure the drinks came at the right time.

Usually pretty good in all regards. However, today I went for brunch and was disappointed not only in the service and food but also in how "management" handled the situation. I was brought out the wrong drink, that was shortly replaced, and then brought out the wrong dish. I ordered a country fried chicken entre and received a country fried steak instead. The steak being paper thin and some breadedconjealed mush.. after taking a bite and noticing, I mentioned it to my server. After 10 minutes of waiting, my only solution was to either wait for a to go of what I ordered or leave empty handed paying for something I never ordered and couldn't even eat it looked so gross. Needless to say we won't be back. Management couldn't even be bothered to present themselves or do anything to make it right. Also, the champagne in the mimosa I ordered was flat. But hey, hopefully it was just an off day on everyone's part

I had the worst experience here picking up an order, the lady Kathy at the to go counter is very rudely nonchalant and gives a racial profile!! I'm a dasher and I won't even consider eating at that location!!

Great place for breakfast. Weekends are definitely crowded but the wait wasn't to long. A Baton Rouge tradition...

I ate here on Thursday, Feb 8th. Our waiter was amazing, the timeliness of the drinks, apps and food coming out was perfect and the food was delicious! I went with my church ladies group and we had a table of 15 and you'd never be able to tell due to the amazing service and food. Everyone enjoyed their food and left happy and full. I highly recommend this restaurant for dinners with family, friends or large parties. Very impressed!
