Seems to be mostly a younger crowd which I’m OK with but not a sociable crowd unless you’re with one of the groups of people no one here commingled that seems but hey, other than that drinks are good and always has good music playingParking: There is also a boat launch that you have to share the parking lot with people and their trailers but hey what makes a Fred’s Fred’s besides the atmosphere of it being on the river with the boat launch
Fred's on the River is a typical riverside tavern with good bands, fun locals and a dock to offload your boat without charge. There is food available in a small casual dining space that is shared with the gas station in the same parking lot. They will bring the food to you at the bar if requested. The pizza there is really very good and affordable.

I didn't eat here, except for free spaghetti cooked as a tail gate meal. I'm not sure if the person that cooked it was an owner or just a loyal patron. The atmosphere was fun and inviting. The drinks were a bit on the higher end, but for the crowd draw, acceptable. The bar had plenty of room indoors and out, with a full bar at each.
