We had a great experience. Betty was amazing and took great care of us throughout our stay. Her recommendations were perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed all of our orders. Great food, service, and prices. Highly recommended.

What a great surprise for this area, food was amazing, good prices and a different flavor than your standard Spanish restraunt. Staff was excellent

Don't overlook this little place! For starters, the interior is so unique and interesting. Upon walking in, we are always greeted by the friendliest staff who are typically quick to seat us! The service is great and quick. The food has been delicious each time we have visited. The price for the quality of the food is great, too! Great deals on different days (Drink and food deals). Would highly recommend anyone looking for a delicious, unique, and fun meal!

Went with my sister on Taco Tuesday around 7pm and we were the only people in there. Ordered 2x1blackberry and watermelon margaritas… too sour, didn’t drink it. Salsa was decent and queso was ok. The guacamole was full of onions. Ordered the Prairieville Avocado, and it was terrible especially for $19!! Bed of shredded lettuce with cold corn out of a can, 2 avocado halves with tuna from a can FULL OF RAW ONIONS! (Topped with a flash fried lonely little shrimp) This should be called Prairieville Onion. When brought to the attention of the server she offered to do absolutely nothing. Pastor was dry. Carnita taco was good. Not good enough to go back for though. Not a fan. Best of luck to this restaurant in a location that never makes it.

New restaurant right by Pville Walmart and it surprised us! More chicken on the fajitas than anywhere in town. My kid’s quesadilla (we added chicken) was incredible. They offer so many seafood dishes! It was hard to decide! Two for 1 margaritas! My shrimp verde dish was a cold dish which was new for me and had so many flavors at once! Waiter was first class. We will be back!

I’ve got a thing for chili relenos, and La Barca has the very best in the Baton Rouge area!

Food and service was great but trying to eat the food with how hot in the restaurant it was almost made me sick from the heat. I asked the staff if they could do anything about the heat and they said it's set up so that they can't power it. Place needs some ceiling fans or the ac unlocked before I will be returning.I've followed the manager since he had the place on Hwy 30 great guy and cares about his restaurants I hope you get this one to were it's comfortable to dine in my man.

Went to dinner here for Father's Day with the family. We were highly impressed by everything. I adore thé decor--the feeling of being under the sea with fish and mermaids and coral! The service was excellent--our sweet server was very friendly and hustling hard. I think she was manning all of the tables. Some people might have complained that the service was slow. Perhaps it was, but we didn't mind as it allowed for good company and pacing of the meal. The salsa and the dip trio was off the charts. That corn dip was so good!! I tried the shredded chicken enchiladas verde. That green sauce was money and the chicken had great flavor. The kids devoured their tacos (Cielo Mar Tierra) and the hubs got the ceviche which he loved. This is a really unique restaurant with many options that you won't find elsewhere. We will be back!

My husband and I have ordered from here a few times now and every time it’s been delicious! I got the salmon, it was flavorful and cooked perfectly, was not dry at all. ‘Y husband like the taco trio and we usually share a ceviche. My favorites side is the corn and potatoes, the sauce it’s in is delicious. Finally a new restaurant in the area besides plain old Mexican food!

I found out when ordering a taco that except for the meat, everything else is extra such as cheese tomatoes etc and you are charged for it.
