Thursday is Steak night at Vic's and it is a feast. The steak is grilled to perfection and barely leaves room on the plate for the baked potato and corn on the cob. Talk about delicious. Great Service with a smile in a down home atmosphere. Plus bread pudding with a choice of two sauces. VERY TASTY.
We have always been satisfied with everything. The bread pudding is also fantastic!!

We are her before but now that someone else is running the restaurant. The food is better . I had the hamburger steak and it was delicious my wife had the fried catfish and shrimp and it was very good also. The new owner came around and greeted everyone. Will definitely be

We were six . Half got their food and they were half way through their food before the rest of us got ours. I had shrimp salad. The fried shrimp were very good.

I had Vics year's ago and it was delicious... The new owners have made small but very noticeable changes to the recipes.... We had roast beef poboy and a cheese burger.... The gravy for the roast beef is bland, not terrible, just missing the flavors it once had .... As for the cheese burger they are premade processed patties that are grossly overcharged for in my opinion... The fries were undercooked and again tasted like GV frozen fries from Walmart....The service was very fast and friendly while ordering, but very slow for pickup... I even had to return for napkins after requesting extra when placing the order...The atmosphere is very small and cramped... Should someone sneeze at a table near your seat, expect it to spray your food should they forget to cover their mouth.... Even the parking lot is cramped and full of holes in the concrete slab....Parking: Very limited space for parking and the concrete slab is riddled with pot holes

On the whole this is a 4 1/2 star restaurant but bring that they are in a small town I'm bumping it up to a five. It's cute. It takes me back to yesteryear and I love the bayou accents. The employees were all friendly and nice. I was dressed more big city than country and everyone treated me well (that doesn't always happen in small towns). I got two appetizers as my lunch and that was plenty. First, I ordered the shrimp boulettes. This reminded me of deep-fried a shrimp shumai but even better. Oh my goodness it was good. When I first saw my lunch I thought they I'd want ranch and nope, I didn't need any sauce. Why mess up perfection?I also got the alligator jalapeño bites. They were good without being too spicy but the inside was too mushy for me. For the most part they had the flavor right it was Just a texture thing. They were just the right amount of spicy and flavor though.
