The muffuletta was fantastic. Great cheap place for some authentic southern food. My son got the cheeseburger and my wife got the bbq chicken sandwich. All were winners! Southern hospitality is a real thing at the store. I’m impressed!

Saw this place online looked great roomy and was craving those cracklings first the pictures online are from their old location the airline location has a three foot by three foot dining area limited menu and no cracklings.The owner states he has tried to update the photos but has never succeeded those three little tables in such a small area wasn't a place I wanted to take my wife for lunch.They had no ribs on the paper menu and don't think it's a smokehouse anymore we never ate there but drove all the way from Metairie in the rain and was very disappointed.It may be ok for a quick to go but didn't look hopeful!

Today was my first time going there and as soon as I walked in, it was such a warm welcoming! I ordered a hot sausage on bun, potato salad, and blueberry bread pudding! Everything was fresh and so delicious! The service was fantastic and the owner and Stephy at the front were very friendly! I will definitely be back to try more options from the menu!

Good food and even better service. I would pass on the red beans get something else. Call ahead and order before the lunch rush for a quick pickup. No dine in except one picnic table outside.

My family and I saw this place and decided to stop and try it. Lil Doug's did NOT disappoint! Doug was the best! He was the only one working, but that didn't take away from anything. He was so friendly and knowledgeable. We talked to him the whole time he was making our food. We ordered his Cajun shrimp po boys, Italian muffuletta, and some of his own jalepeno cheddar sausage links. We received so much food for the price. Well worth it if you're ever in the area!!! Thanks Doug!

Unassuming spot with great food and large portions. We stopped in on a whim and walked out with our own personal buffet which fed us for days. And just because you get a lot doesn't mean they skimp on quality -- everything we got was excellent! Would highly recommend.Also, staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They aren't entirely setup for dine-in, but they did a lot to accommodate us and make us feel welcome.
