You know, I was once a regular of this place. I used to come a lot, but this time, one of the workers made someone who was obviously new serve me, and they TOTALLY got it wrong. I tried to communicate with that person (whatever her name is) but either she couldn't understand my Spanish or she didn't know English. And I got repeatedly frustrated with her for not understanding me and she couldn't even understand my "lemonade" request. If I have to get my order taken again by her, I'm not coming back ever again. And I don't like to write negative reviews, especially since I don't usually review on Google, but this visit experiences a negative review. I doubt I'll ever be back.

Similar format to Chipotle, website prices have not been updated to the higher charges, eg ~20% higher. Adequate food quality but good service.

Food and service were the absolute worst... Stay far, far away! My crew of 7 men went in on 9-6-2023 and EVERY one of my men's including mine was horrible. As far as the service..same thing...the worst.

Super cool people over there with great food. I’ve been there twice so far, and both visits have been great. I couldn’t recommend El Jarrito more

The food is super good. Caesar is very polite and great at what he does, always a pleasant visit. The girls working with him are nice too, very thorough. Didn't get their names though

The employees are pretty horrivle and the restaurant is disgustingly dirty, but the food is mid for a good price so who am I to complain

Make your own burritos, bowls, tacos, or quesadillas. Took ours to go. Yummy food. Excellent queso blanco. Blah atmosphere. (Prefer the sit-down locations with a full menu = on hwy 33 or I-20.) Nothing fancy but good for a quick meal.Vegetarian options: Easy to create your own veggie bowl, salad, or nachos.

As a person from Southern and Central Texas where Mexican food is kind of our thing I have to admit this place surprised me wasn't expecting to find a good Mexican place in Louisiana. It kind of reminds me of Chipotle and freebirds were you can build your own burrito, bowl or salad.Vegetarian options: Although I'm not a vegetarian they did have a bunch of vegetarian options on the menu

Almost comparable to Javi P’s in West Monroe, same layout but the food quality isn’t as good

Food was ok but way over priced! Three people, one meal and one coke each, one bowl of cheese dip, Everyone agreed the quality and taste was DEF not worth $80!

The Fresh Mex spot is by far my favorite of all El Jarrito locations! They're quick, friendly, funny, and the food is always great! Build your own bowls, burritos, quesadillas, etc. & they always accommodate! Salsa bar for the win, as well!
