Have been here multiple times and the food is always great! Cafeteria style dining area, so don't expect "atmosphere". The condiment bar is a nice touch! Their French dip sandwich is a favorite ?!

The Mediterranean pizza, the meat pizza, the loaded baked potato soup (omg) and the lobster bisque (will make you forget you're not at a high end restaurant) are all great choices! Very clean and great atmosphere! We even are able to seat large groups after church when we bring our whole family for lunch! Don't sleep on the self serve condiment bar with their delicious bread & butter pickles, toasted bread sticks, yummy croutons, banana peppers & more all included with your meal!

I ordered lobster bisque and got tomato soup was not good at all. I don’t know if they didn’t understand what I said are they ran out and tried to cover it up with tomato soup I have no idea it was awful.

i did an UberEats order and it had no napkins nor any silverware. i asked for extra toppings on my sandwich and it wasn’t on the sandwhich.

11/23: Multiple visits later = still enjoy going here, but the Newk's club & the Cheesesteak are our current favs (the chicken has been way too dry several times when I tried my previous fav). Get the tomato basil soup & homemade croutons! The veggie portabello pizza was tasty but had way too much olive oil on it (my hand was doused). Both mac & cheeses are good. Miss the multigrain sandwich bread too! Prices have gone up a lot.9/2021: Chicken pesto sandwich was so amazing. My hubs loved the Newks Q (white BBQ) sandwich. The crawfish pepperjack & tomato soups are tasty. Pizzas = excellence; love their iced tea too.Vegetarian options: Several soups & salads

We had a great experience at the Newk’s in Ruston, LA. Traveling through, it’s only about 5+ mins off the hwy.Very clean. The staff was pleasant. The food was just as I remember (haven’t been in so long!) — wonderful! And something I take note of in places like this is how clean their restroom is. Their restrooms were nice and clean. I was very impressed overall.
Half soup half sandwich is plenty! Choose what you want. Nice and ?. Service was so good we left a larger tip. Bless young people working their tail off and going to college.Parking: It's a tight squeeze for slots and lot for business is small
We like to load up our dogs in our Jeep and run into town to get Newk's take out to eat in our Jeep. We always grab a package of breadsticks for the dogs to share. My husband and I like their chicken salad sandwich (I like to add a few of their sweet pickles) and the SunChips along with a bottle of sparkling water! But I REALLY miss the multigrain bread! We always split the sandwich to save room for dessert! And for dessert, my husband and I split a slice of their chocolate cake! Yum!
