The best birria tacos you will get around here! I go probably once a month to at least one of there locations! Authentic and friendly service! I can't say enough good things! They are very quick! I've never had my order take more than 10 mins. Owner is friendly and willing to take orders ahead of time to help with convenience. Te quiero TAQUERIA LA MEXICANA <3

I had the birria tacos from this truck and their other location at the Chevron station about five times during my recent two week visit to Ruston. I could not get enough. I live in New York City where we have some of the best Mexican food in the country and these Ruston tacos are some of the best I’ve ever had.The tacos at the truck downtown and the one by the Chevron station are exactly the same. Just note that the Chevron station one is cash only. The downtown location has a nice outdoor seating area as well.

They make hands down the best tacos I have had my entire life. I was not really big on taco, but they changed my mind about it. Their taco is sooo good that I never tried anything else there.

Very small dining area, maybe 20 or so seats, not fancy. Friday lunch: had the Biftek Mexicana (or something like that), basically good plain fajitas. Very mildly seasoned, but of course there is a toppings bar with lots of good stuff, dress it like you want it. The sides of rice and beans were very good, but very mild. Free chips, and pick your own salsa from the bar, from mild but very flavorful to Very Hot. Bottled drinks only, they will bring you a glass of ice.
