This is definitely not $29 worth of food for the Abita Shrimp Pasta. The spaghetti and meatballs had no sauce. $96

5 friends were having dinner at Trio’s. I stopped on my way through town an hour after everyone had been at the table and had ordered. I did not eat and only had a glass of water, and visited for a while.According to the table- Everyone’s food was great. Drinks were good. Young waitress was not knowledgeable on questions asked. Table had to constantly ask for refills, silverware, etc.WATCH YOUR BILL! Ask for prices on up charges, substitutions, etc.• Table was charged a service fee for me, making their table a party of 6.• 2 women had 2 martinis each, (normally $14) they charged 4 to each lady, at $7 a piece.• 2 for 1 specialty drinks, they again split to the two tickets. Therefore they were no longer “2 for 1” making them $24 EACH.• tried to ask questions for clarification, and were told we were rude and upset the waitress.Unfortunately, we won’t be back.

Had the brunch menu....pleased with menu selection. Not so much with execution. We ordered blueberry crepes, omelettes, and a BLT. The crepes themselves were done well...very little blueberry flavor. Truffle fries with pesto were crispy and delicious! Grits under cooked, pasty, and bland. I would still like to visit one more time to sample the regular menu.

Great service, the food is a hit or miss, both the hummus and the moussaka were awful, the red fish and burger were delicious. Also, it's too dark for dining,
Food was excellent. We ordered the Tuna Nachos for the Appetizer and the Duck Club and the Braised Beef Grilled Cheese for our meal. Why the 4 stars?Tuna Nachos were about half the size they should have been for the price. There was also a huge backlog of orders and it ended up being there for 2 hours. We will definitely go there again when in Ruston.
We ended our weekend in Ruston at Trio’s for brunch. It was the first time for our local friends and us to try this place. It’s a cool little place with good brunch. Definitely recommend you get there early.

For being a brunch, the food was very average. The chicken was overcooked in the chicken and waffles. The waffles were a little soggy. My omelot was very average, and they didn't offer salsa. My biggest disappointment was the 20% service fee for brunch. Our waitress didn't inform us that they add a 20% tip to the check already. It was very sketchy to not tell us about this, and then still expect a traditional tip. Watch your bill. Personally, I won't go back.

Had Brunch today, the Pork Belly sandwich and fries, my wife had the daily special that was a huge house made croissant stuffed with eggs and bacon, cubed potatoes and grits with endless Mimosas. We had a great time eating and visiting. Staff was very friendly.
