The fare is really good. The waitress is fantastic. The dining room is well appointed with Mediterranean touches with music to set the mood. The only thing keeping the fifth star from dropping is the watered down lentil soup and the seemingly inability to serve the courses in appropriate succession for some reason; soup, app, entree were all served at the same time. Good food in St. Francisville. Petra has branches in Baton Rouge and St. Fran. This one definitely holds its own. Good lunch. Nice staff. Come on in!Vegetarian options: The chef can modify dishes as requested.

I never do this but if you're looking to try Greek or Lebanese food for the first time or if you love it already and need a different place to try, my husband and I HIGHLY recommend Cafe Petra. I would actually give a 10/10 ! Husband had the Gyro sandwich plate and omg. Full of perfectly cooked gyro meat and grecian sauce. And the french fries were amazing.
