Our group ate a pre-fixed menu. All was ok. A bit slow, since it was at lunch and they didn't have a separate area for us, so our group had to wait until tables were available. Their regular lunch crowd was very busy so our group was a very long time being fed. Got there at noon and some of us never got fed until 1:45. Food was tasty once we got it. We had made arrangements prior since this was a large tour group.

First time ever going to this delightful place. Grabbed an early lunch to beat the crowds because they always have crowds!! Crab cakes, grilled shrimp and vegetables, shrimp grits and seafood salads were ordered by my party. These are diabetes and cholesterol friendly (except the crab cakes!) and were extremely tasty. Food promptly came and our table was well attended. Definitely going back!Dietary restrictions: Diabetic friendly menu

Absolutely amazing place! The owners come around and ask you how your meal is and cracks a few jokes. Great atmosphere, incredible food and the staff was just great! Would eat here everyday if I lived nearby, definitely check this place out the owner is a real gentleman. I would give this place 10 stars if I could, just incredible!!

This place was amazing. I am from Indiana and this was my first experience for southern food (gumbo etc) and it did not disappoint!Service was fantastic. Our waitress was very polite and kept our drinks topped off without even asking. She was very polite and gave us pointers for what food to try and pick out.The atmosphere was also very neat. The interior was very detailed and you can tell they pay attention to every single thing that goes into the restaurant.Oh and did I mention they grow their own vegetables right next door in the greenhouse?! How awesome is that! We walked over to take a few photos once we finished up with dinner.I cannot recommend this place enough if you are in the area!

Upon walking in we were greeted by a man I assumed is the owner. He was very warm and inviting. After we were seated our server came in a timely manner and took our drink order. I informed her I was on keto and before I could ask for suggestions she said she didn't know anything about that. Fair enough I thought, so I just ordered a vodka soda which I enjoyed. My significant other ordered a margarita which he said had an odd "frothy" texture but he drank it anyway. He is not a picky person when it comes to food and we were in good spirits as we were celebrating our Valentine's Day dinner early. Our food took a bit as the server informed us they had just finished getting the food out for a large party. We were patient though. About 10 minutes later our server returned to inform us that they were out of the grilled veggies we had both ordered as our side as well as pretty much every other veggie I inquired about. This was really disappointing for me due to my diet restriction. I had actually looked at the menu beforehand to make sure I would be able to enjoy my meal before deciding upon going to this restaurant for our date. She then offered to put grilled mushroom on my steak which excited me so much that I asked if I could just get a bit extra and have that as my side. She said that she didn't think the kitchen would do that so I reluctantly decided to just get another salad. My boyfriend ordered the crawfish dinner and his gumbo came out first and he was not impressed. He is by no means a foodie and has a very simple palate so I was really surprised to hear him say he thinks there is too much file in the gumbo and his crawfish were rubbery. My steak and the rest of his meal came out a little after. The flavor my steak and the temperature of my steak was good however for the $38 price, I did not expect it to be so tough and hard to cut. My boyfriend loves etouffee and he didn't enjoy it or anything else on his plate. His main complaint seemed to be that the crawfish were rubbery. Anywho we did enjoy our time together but for the price that we paid, the quality just did not reflect. Needless to say, unfortunately we won't be dining here again.

Love this place!!! The service is always very helpful and kind but a little slow around rush hour (dinner time esp) but still worth the wait. They keep it a little cool inside so bring a jacket! The food is great also. It reminds me of the classic cajun foods i grew up with. The gumbo and etouffee wasnt my favorite but you can never judge those two foods especially because everyone makes it different down here.

OK, so the wait is long, but it's worth it. Great food and amazing bartender, atmosphere is a community. You must try it.
