The ratio of cake to frosting almost made the cake inedible. I love sweet things but it felt like you were eating frosting with a few crumbs of cake. We got the same cake last year and really enjoyed it. Wanted to let Buttercups know how I felt and the assistant was very apologetic but no one called me back. I won't spend that amount of money on a cake again if two thirds of it has to be put in the trash.

I love this place the aesthetic is very calming and clean but most of all the cupcakes are amazing, has a very thick soft texture and the cream topping is delicious not to mention the service is top tier so please stop by and try these addictive treats!!!! 5 stars for me

Was so hilarious when we showed up at 7. I understand you close at that time. However, you ran to lock the door after we locked eyes. Could’ve just let me know you weren’t open!

Best cupcake bakery within a hundred mile radius! I would make an hour drive to get these. No disrespect but Bundt Cakes and the like can't even place themselves in their category. Truly amazing!

Everyone was really nice , cupcakes where different. The chocolate one was too wet for me. Felt like for the size they where gonna be filled. Paid around 17 bucks for all for. Wasn't worth the money for me. Compared to other places I been too. But it seems to have a great atmosphere just not for me. Macarons where really good thought if I just bought those would be a 4/5 for sure...

Tried the chocolate peanut butter cup cupcake and it was delicious. Took a bite into red velvet cupcake and it was AWFUL. I don’t know how much dye was put into the cupcake but my goodness it tasted like STRAIGHT CHEMICALS. I have never had a cupcake taste like that before. For a $5 cupcake I expected much much MUCH better.

Ahhh finally so happy to report back that the cupcakes & macarons were definitely worth the stop. Super sweet service. You could tell the girls were all really working hard to take care of all the walk in traffic in a timely manner. There's a cute little table where we enjoyed sitting down for a rest after shopping. The macarons were so fresh & pillowy. A little crunch & a soft center. Melts in your mouth! Cupcakes were just so moist & that buttercream was fantastic.

I bought a couple cake pops from here earlier today and one of them had a hair in it. The cake pop itself was good but I'm never going back to buy anything else from this place again.

Buttercups not only has delicious cupcakes, cake pops and macarons, but excellent customer service. They're one of the few brick and mortar bakeries in town with gluten free options, and they're careful to handle the items separately (with different gloves and boxing). I am so appreciative!
