Delicious food! Different from modern restaurants with lots of light but the food and service are worth the experience.

Atmosphere was amazing. Low lighting, comfortable seating, soothing music. And the food was incredible! I got the crab claws as the app and salmon as my entrée. They ran out of the dessert I wanted though (my reservation was at 630pm). Definitely going back to try something else on the menu!

Went for Valentine's dinner for first time to dine here. So happy we came here. Service and food were fantastic. The signature veal dish with blackberries was off the charts great. Wife had chicken with a lemon sauce also great. Scallop appetizer and tortellini soup were also delish. Soup had a nice umami flavor, very unexpected but pleasant surprise. Had house cake and tiramisu for desert. Only thing that I wasn't overly impressed with was the Caesar salad. May just be a preference thing, but I wanted a little more punch to it, a little extra garlic and anchovies and it would have been great, but I am sure some prefer it this way. This last statement should sum it up, as we were walking out, we looked at each other and said, "so when are you booking the next reservation"? Cannot wait to come back and try some other dishes. One of the best restaurants in Shreveport Bossier City area hands down. Sorry no pics, too busy eating.

Last night our waitress mixed up my order with someone else’s. She came back about 5 minutes later with my veal. About ten minutes after eating Chianti’s veal scallopine I started feeling sick. Shortly I violently vomited all of what I’d eaten into my napkin as I wasn’t able to make it to the ladies room in time. There was no toilet paper. Prior our waiter had to be asked several times to refill our waters and to bring fresh bread. Maybe since she got my order wrong the veal was hurriedly cooked insufficiently and that’s what made me sick. I called today to ask the manager to reimburse me for my meal because it made me sick. He said he wouldn’t because he says the meal didn’t make me sick. He kept saying everybody ate the veal a nobody got sick. MY MEAL made me sick. So if you go to chiantis and the meal makes you sick just expect the manager to call you a liar. I’ll never go there again. Too bad such an upscale restaurant treats it’s patrons so poorly.

If you have a meeting or just want to dine in, ask for Maria. She is hands down the sweetest individual you will come across and your experience will be nothing but enjoyable. I held a business meeting with 25+ people, we ended up with 9 additional people and Maria handled it with nothing but patience and a smile on her face. Everyone at the dinner said they had a wonderful time, that the food was super good, and that they can't wait to go back. When it is time to do another dinner, Maria is who I'll be asking for again!

Love Dorsey Summerfield in the Green room. Polite service. Food came out subpar and lukewarm. Honestly disappointing, have a few nice memories there. Doubt I go back

This might be the best ambiance I've seen in Shreveport so far for a restaurant. Dark, quiet, decorated nicely and good music! Even better than that, the food was REALLY good. I can see why this place has been around for 40 years. Be sure to save room for dessert. Great selections! I went with a party of 6 and we all ordered a dessert to try. Tiramisu and Italian cake were the highlights. Salmon entree, spinach pasta with prosciutto and veal were all excellent. I also really enjoyed the eggplant appetizer! I'll be back soon!

Ate here a few weeks ago, and it was so good we are still talking about it! This has to be my favorite Italian food ive had, and I had my fair share of Italian food while in NYC recently. This was much better. All of our dishes were spectacular. The atmosphere was so lovely. I was genuinely blown away by how absolutely great the quality of everything was. I was not a fan of the tiramisu or spumoni, but all of our dinners were so outstanding that it did not matter. Highly recommend.
