Came to eat lunch today. Located in Freestate center off N. Market. Breakfast open at 6AM. Lunch special daily. Close 1:30PM. Clean as a whistle. Food is excellent. Staff very cordial. Love this place. Will be back.

In an odd spot. The food is great, reasonably priced. Our office staff orders from here at least once a week.

I enjoyed the classic breakfast of eggs, sausage, hash browns and a biscuit. Service was great and the other patrons were friendly. I'll be back.

Down...Home... Southern cooking! Another hidden gem this time in the industrial area of Shreveport. Went here on the recommend of a friend. Now I will probably have to help them move because this food is so good! I'm certain they were trying to get a favor. CND has daily specials and you can't go wrong with any of them. Save room for dessert.. if you can.

The best home cooked meal ever. The owner is very sweet and kind. The portions are good sizes. I will come back everytime I go to Louisiana!!!!

Awesome little diner. Great breakfast and great service. I really enjoyed getting to meet and chat with the owners father, Tommy Joe.

My food hasn't even arrived yet but just in the hospitality this place gets my 5 star Was going through Shreveport and decided to get some work done on my semi not far from here and hoofed it down to this place based on reviews Two of the less than 5 star reviews should t even be allowed, one person didn't even eat here and the other said everything was great Seems to be ran by a husband and wife and both seemed like very nice people

My daughter and I ate here, was very surprised how great the food is. The service was great, the lady that cooks came around asking was everything ok . You don’t get that everywhere nowadays. Would recommend eating here.

Nasty. Funky little Tyson chicken patty, bland "gravy", flavorless mashed potatoes...tried to act like it was some serious home cooking. Even the box cake was dry.

This is a hole in the wall mom and pop zero frills place.Limited menu, can drinks, but the food is hot, and the portions are good. The staff is old school friendly, and always have some home made dessert.Fine dining it ain't, but you can eat lunch here daily and leave happy.

If I could give it zero stars I would. Order chicken fried steak it was pounded out so flat you could of read a menu thru it,then cooked so well done that the wafer of meat was almost dehydrated. The mashed potatoes were ice cold , the eggplant had zero flavor tasted like fried flour. The guy asked me if I wanted a coffee refill....never came back to the table. And don't get me started about the bite size piece of cake that they gave us was literally 2in×2in. ... Needless to say we won't ever go back there. A total waste of money.
