They don't answer the phone. They don't have voice mail. I received their king cake in Houston and I can't find it who sent it because they didn't include a card. Crappy business screw them

Got a gluten free king cake shipped to California. On time, fresh, and delicious! Will order again next year.

I don’t understand why everyone likes Lilah’s. I’ve only ever had it one time because 1) service was lousy and the person helping us was rude; 2) it was more expensive than Gambino’s - GAMBINO’S (and yes, we had just had one from the original Gambino’s when we were in Metairie the week before); and 3) it was dry and wasn’t nearly as good as Gambino’s. To sum it up, Lilah’s = rude service and dry king cakes.

USED to be our fave but the quality has declined big time. If you like filling do not get the small size. For $20 we picked up one that ended up being over cooked on the side we couldn't see thru the box with about 1/3 having filling in the whole cake and it was scarce. About half the cake was edible.TERRIBLE customer service on a cake that was shipped during ice storm. Did not answer the phone and only 1 not so friendly reply to my 1st of 3 emails. Had to go in person and she was so aloof saying the issue happened to all the cakes that were sent that day. They never alerted us knowing there were problems. Then never got back to me as she said she would. The cake was received later that week. Not sure if was the original cake, which would be bad, or if a new was sent.Hopefully the latter. Will not be returning!

We come to Shreveport to visit my daughter for her birthday every January. And we always grab a 1or 2 kings cakes to take back to DFW!

Go Go now. Best king cake. So fresh. Mealy in your mouth. The ladies working were so nice and helpful. Not far off the interstate. Must go.

Ever since we found Lilah's it has been a family favorite!! It seems a bit pricey but knowing how much time and ingredients goes into making one, I completely understand. We love supporting a locally owned and operated business!! The owner is wonderful!! A true gem in Shreveport!

The king cake wasn't as good as it was in previous years. Very disappointing. I won't be purchasing another one.

I drove 30 mins there. I walked in and got a box that was in the spot that was labeled Bavarian. My fault for trusting that and not reading what the actual box said.Called and let them know I was a little upset and they said I would have to be back by 6pm before they closed to switch it out and it was already 5:15. Or be there when they first open and I have to be at work at this time. I lived 30 mins away and explained that. They didn’t seem to really care !

I think when it comes to king cake, everyone has their own opinion about what makes a great king cake. We prefer filing in our King Cakes, like cream cheese or Bavarian cream. I lived in Shreveport for over 20 years and never had a king cake from Lilah's. We moved away a few years ago and found a Lilah's king cake at a local market near us. It was very fresh and we loved it. We ordered a Christmas King Cake online and it was delivered the next day after it was shipped. Again, freshly made and delicious!

Disappointment is what we got instead of a promising king cake. Picked up a cinnamon/sugar cake from the Centenary location to take back home. Once we cut into it there was no filling. We cut some more, no filling. it wasn't until we go to the other side that we found the filling and there wasn’t much there. I sent a message to them on FB to which they quickly replied apologizing and offered to replace it if we brought it back. Unfortunately we do not live close by so that wasn't an option. The cake was good and fresh but not worth what I paid. I will stick with Keller's or Meche's.
