We went to newks today.The service was slow and the food was luke warm. All the booths were dirty. I had to clear and wipe down own table. They also have done away with their military discount.So disappointing, this location used to be so much better. I hope they turn it around.

We placed a delivery order for newks at 11:15 and the original time was for 12:08 then it was changed to 12:40. If I would have known that they could change the time to a later time, I would have never use their delivery service. I called the store and the first girl hung up the phone after I asked could they check on the order. The second girl said the food was just sitting there. The next time I called I asked could I just pick up the food myself since our lunch was at 12, the guy said he would hold off on the food. When I came to pick up my order the food went out to deliver a few minutes before I could tell them the name. All the manager could do was wave the delivery fee since the food was already out. They need to work on their communication and figure out how their delivery service works.

Love the chicken salad sandwich, pizzas, fresh fruit and the Splenda sweetened tea! Service is fast. Clean restaurant-usually get order to go so do not really dine-in. This is my "go to" fast food of choice!

Newks has some of the best salads and pizza in my opinion. The salads are large and filling and the pizza is hot and fresh. Plus I eat that roasted garlic in a jar like candy!
Great chicken salad. Loved it. Your bread and butter pickles are delish. Service was a tad slow in serving, but not to long a wait. Love this restaurant.

I've loved Newks for years and have always basically ordered the same thing, most of the time. But the one in Shreveport has gone down hill for real. I go here at least once a week on my lunch break and the past 5-7 times I've gone, my sandwich has been inedible because it's drenched in sauce, so much so that the container always has a pool of sauce at the bottom and the bread is soggy and covered in sauce. Just sloppy. And I am not someone who likes a dry sandwich.. but the amount they put on it now is just gross. Yet they put less meat on it now than ever. At first I thought it was just a bad day but it keeps happening and I'm tired of paying 15-20 dollars for a little thing of soup and half a sandwich that I can hardly even eat without spending 5 minutes soaking up the sauce with napkins first ... I finally took a picture bc this is just sick. they also need to learn what WELL DONE bacon means . Service is always good, but this is just ridiculous!

My husband, three friends and myself went for lunch earlier today and deciding where we'd go was easy. We don't get together often but when we do it's non negotiable hands down 'Newks' on Youree Dr. in Shreveport. We all have our favorites and enjoyed it all with its usual nice clean presentation, food freshness and great tasting. Always a good experience, always!
