Bought food yesterday night for my mama, and got tiny pieces of fish, hush puppy was gummy, food wasn't cooked the way I ask either. Once I got home she started eating and it was tasteless and a french fries were soggy after I ask for them to be cooked longer and gummy hush puppies(I mean look at how flat the fish is). I told her to stop eating, I called no answer, claim they stop answering the phone at 8:45... Ok. So today I called and told them and they said bring it back, after they brought the food out and had her look at it, the little short man with glasses and a mustache (I think Mexican) told us that they wouldn't do it again. How do you tell a customer, a paying customer that you won't remake your food again if it's wrong or not worth the money you just spent. I would understand if she ate half or most of the food and brought it back, but my mama stop eating after the first bite. Regardless if it matters or not they just lost customers, it definitely isn't how it used to be. I guess they are cutting corners.

The staff was very polite and kind. The food was amazing, the beans and rice especially was simply delicious and the wait time was less than 10 minutes. It was my first road trip to Louisiana and when I visit again I'll definitely order again.

Livers were so covered with breading I had to try to peal some off. But it was hardened on. Liver itself tasteless. All seemed like precooked weeks earlier and reheated. Fries tasted like cooked in dirty oil. Really quite a mess.

I don’t usually like catfish, but I didn’t think to ask what type it was before I ordered. It was great! It was an odd experience though because the server ignored my husband.
My $39 order was incorrect. After the cashier called back part of my order incorrectly. After waiting more than 20 minutes for my order. It was cold and wrong. The shrimp tastes like rubber. The salad was just a complete mess. NEVER again. Not even with someone else's money! ??

The Greenwood Rd one is better why Sam's Southern eatery in the neighborhoods ALWAYS be stingy with the extra shrimps. I got 3 extra shrimps on Greenwood Rd. Both neighborhood Sam's gave me one extra shrimp. STOP BEING STINGY WITH THE SHRIMP ?

I have been here twice and both times my cole slaw was spoiled. I usually go to the Sam’s in Texarkana Texas which has way more options. I am vegan and won’t be back to this one.
