We live 1.5 hours away and would gladly make the trip every Friday to enjoy this great restaurant! Lexi and the crew in the kitchen are helpful and give excellent service. The atmosphere was relaxed, eclectic , and had a great vibe. The bar offers a wide array of adult beverages, and the food was very tasty, not your average eatery. Menu was very diverse and I recommend the house specialty chicken wings. Based on the specials we enjoyed a tab only slightly above fast food and far more enjoyable. Come on out and try them , they are great!

We found this place by complete accident, but we are so glad we did. Being a Native Texas, this place was like visiting the Texas Embassy in Shreveport. The atmosphere is very cozy and warm, the service was both friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. The food... The food was truly amazing. We had the Grilled Guac for an appetizer. This was so fresh tasting, it lasted I believe for about 9½ seconds. We ordered the steak and shrimp, soup de jour was cream of potato, and my daughter had the brisket cheese steak. When I say everything was delicious I really mean it. My steak was cooked perfectly, the potato soup had their own twist, and had some amazing flavors marrying cajun and southwest flavors. The brisket cheese steak may have caused a little food envy, and did not disappoint.I also enjoyed a Smokey Rum Old Fashioned, and it was a wonderful addition to my meal. I highly recommend this Restaurant, you will not regret it. Buen Provecho!

I travel 5 days a week for the past 25 years, so I eat out a lot. I have been coming here for the past few months and getting the CFS which so amazing. But tonight I ordered a burger which is my go to meal. It was easily the best burger I have had in years. I have had every burger from an upscale dining to dive bar from Texas to Georgia and north to Ohio and I am telling you it’s top 3 lifetime easy! Don’t miss this burger if you get the chance!

I have tried about 80% of the menu, and I like everything I have ordered. Dog friendly patio. One of our go to spots in Shreveport.Parking: Usually have parking. Sometimes the lot is full and you have to park around the corner, but it is still worth it.
Yvette has made my experience at Tejas worse than ever before. I walk in to place a Togo order and she was nothing but snappy and rude throughout the process so I told her never mind and went somewhere else. I can’t wait for Mason to be back because I won’t be until he is.

Was recommend this establishment and decided to try it only to be discriminated by the African American hostess. She was taking care of another African American and addressed the concern only to be lied to as there was no waiting list until we arrived for a party of 6. Spoke to Mgr to address the concern and it would be awhile before a table is ready so we opt to miss out but address a concern as no one should experience what we experienced ( we were a diversity) group but unfortunately I was not the right person to be accomplished to.

I have always had not only impeccable food but service here. The brunch is THE BEST IN SHREVEPORT!!! (In my opinion) the custom mimosa bar is a sweet touch , plus, I like that they use a sweet dry white for their mimosa base. I’ve personally never experienced any unwanted or racist energy.
