Still the best anywhere near Slidell. it is a shame the pkace is now only open Friday and Saturday with brisket only on Saturday. BBQ is very good. I really like the candied yams and greens for the sides.

I really loved this place. It breaks my heart to not be able to give 5☆. It was so unbearably hot. My children got horrible headaches, and were not able to enjoy the excellent food. If you are looking for take-out, this is most definitely 10/10

Was pleasantly surprised by this place. If you blink you missed it. We did, ended up doing a U-turn in the neighborhood behind it. This place is the epitome of a mom and pop shop. Being a Texas Native and having the privilege to visit Franklin’s, Burnt Bean, 2M you name it I’ve tried it. I have really high expectations for bbq. Passing through Louisiana I wanted something off the beaten path. The sides here are delicious and the brisket was really good. Moist and flavorful. The pork ribs for us were a let down. Tough with minimal flavor. Overall if your in the area it’s definitely worth a stop. Support small business and get a great lunch in the process.

The food was Horrible rib tips all fat, Mac & cheese was disgusting. The establishment was filthy.
Very good BBQ! Pulled pork sandwich is huge as well as the ribs. Totally casual place and only a few tables. You can tell they put a lot of love in to the BBQ. Can't wait to come back on Saturday when they serve brisket.

Best BBQ in Slidell by far. They have stood the test of time. The staff is all friendly and the lady who works the counter is a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day. Keep up the good work my friends!

This place doesn't look like much on the exterior. It sits nexts to a Black Fang which I think is a gun store. We'd just moved out here and found this hidden gem of a BBQ spot. They are warm and welcoming here. You walk in and you can see the menu up above you, so look up. Place your order and pay for your meals as they get to work back there in the kitchen. If you decide to eat here, you will choose your table and wait for your name to be called. There are bar stools lined up against the wall and tables of various sizes to choose from. Saturdays are "brisket day". The meat falls off the bone. And you can choose from three different BBQ flavors; honey, spicy and regular. So get to picking' and get your chick'n or brisket or pork options with several sides from bbq beans, red beans and rice, Mac n cheese, and others to choose from. You won't be disappointed. Best bbq joint in slidell that we've stumbled upon as of yet.
