Don’t forget about this spot! Slidell has a handful of sushi joints, and this might be the original. Definitely a hole in the wall, and never super crowded, and the sushi is always perfectly done. It’s consistently excellent.
This place is awesome! Their sushi is great, the fried rice is amazing. The scallops are huge and the size of the dish is enough for three people or more. It is worth every penny! Employees are nice & welcoming.

Was with a party of 8. We had about 8 rolls and all 8, despite being labeled different, looked remarkable similar. 7of the rolls were smothered way too much with spicy mayo and tempura crispy topping. Made all the rolls taste the same. Meh. 4 stars for being brave enough to remain open for dine in during Covid.
