The oak harbor waffle House has been my favorite place to go when I want to splurge myself for breakfast. The service and food have always been exceptional, and the food is consistently good ?. Consistency is very important for me from a restaurant. I have gotten the same item on the menu since my first visit to a waffle house 25 years ago.
By far the best service I've gotten at a restaurant with meal options under $10.00, at 03:00 no less. They keep the general atmosphere lively and upbeat and my server was almost overly friendly. Props to whoever they gave the Bluetooth speaker to, better music choice than the bog standard 50 songs that play at every business. ? if you're going to go out on insomnia excursions, this a wonderful destination.

Only 4 on the atmosphere because, no matter which House you go to, there is always that one employee that insists on loudly banging the dishes when they clean them. They apparently have no idea that their banging fills the entire space making, for ever how long it takes to clean what they are washing, a very unpleasant dining experience.Everything else is fine. The food, the wait staff, the clean tables....but the banging... terrible.
