Oh my god this is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Louisiana that I've been to! This place is authentic and it's amazing. It's in a sketchy area and it looks a little you know it's catchy, but oh my God the food is amazing and I would love to go here all the time.

Enjoyed our lunch here. We love eating local and found this place when visiting relatives. Everyone had something different fro enchiladas to chicken tacos to Birria tacos. The service was a little slow but we weren't in a rush. Like most places they are probably understaffed. The only thing we were bummed about was No Carne Guisada beef entree which was on the online menu. That is one of our favorite dishes

I had the alambre while my wife was less adventurous with the chicken quesadillas. We both enjoyed our meals immensely. I am never able to eat a whole plate dinner, so my alambre turned into 2 breakfasts as well. It reheated nicely on the stove where I added 2 fried eggs. Whoa! This is good food.I understand they are working on their liquor license.

The food is above average but the service is slow... The facility is more "hole in the wall"... So the condition (e.g. cleanliness, exterior appearance, etc.) of the facility would match that description without trying to disparage the restaurant...
