We celebrated a birthday with family. The restaurant was very busy. To be expected on a Friday night. I will go

Me and my wife came there today. It is like the 2nd or 3rd time where we had to walk out because no one comes to your table when you are seated. I'm not going back. Music was too loud as well. They'll attend to you if you have a group of people. That's where the money is at, I guess.

The bunless blt was good but everything else, I could make better with more flavor at home. So bland. Spent a a little over $30 on this and I’ve had much better food for even less at other places.

We decided to go for brunch. Ist complaint the hosted fail to communicate to each other and seated other people with the samenumber in there party before us. Then with a slight apology say sorrycan you wait for 15 min to be seated. They put us at the bar. Sat there for 15min. No water, no we are on our way no nothing . We just left ..we have been there several time . This is the first time we experience this type of service.

Stop here based of reading about it in a bayou food trail website. It did not disappoint! We went with some apps due to plans for other stops through the day. The voodoo shrimp was amazing. We also had the jalapeño hush puppies and some chicken and sausage gumbo. Could not go wrong with any of these dishes.

Gumbo is just okay. Pasta with cajun sauce is not good. The red fish and roasted potatoes were the best. Service was good as well.

Food was not good. Had the French dip and to my surprise it was the driest roast beef I’ve ever had. Not sure if it’s frozen then reheated? Cesar salad was old and lettuce was soggy. 80$ for 4 to eat.

We had to park in the strip mall behind the restaurant and had to wait a half hour to be seated. Then we waited 15 minutes for service and another 10 minutes to get our drinks. There was one waitress for half the restaurant and more hostesses than one could imagine. Our appetizer and entrees arrived at the same time. The long island iced tea is a glass of straight liquor. The mahi mahi was way over cooked and flaky like a mashed potato. The chopped sirloin was a mess, but the voodoo shrimp appetizer was the highlight of the night. If it isn't fried, don't buy it from this restaurant.

This was my very first time eating at Flanagans. I got spinach & artichoke dip as the appetizer & the pecan & crabmeat crusted redfish (pictured) for my entree. My grandma got the fried shrimp and fish platter with sweet potato fries. Absolutely everything we had was delicious. The pecan & crab meat crusted redfish was laying on top of a nice array of roasted sweet potatoes, red peppers, onions, and zucchini which made the meal that much better. All of those flavors combined made for the perfect meal! I definitely will be going have lunch at Flanagans again next time I visit Thibodaux.
