It's been many years since I've been to Fremin's, and I already can't wait to go back. The food was phenomenal. Presentation was as beautiful. Service was out of this world. We were treated very well, and since it was our anniversary they made it special by writing Happy Anniversary on our dessert plates.Highly recommend this place!Also the prices are very reasonable considering that it's a fine dining establishment with the quality of food even being up to par for this Cajun woman.

Let's start off by saying that I made a reservation for my anniversary and were seated promptly. Our server took a couple of minutes to take our drink order which was not a problem. It took almost 30 minutes to get our drinks. Still in a festive mood but realizing things might get backed up, we ordered an appetizer. When the appetizer came out we ordered a salad and our meal. Salad took a while but was delicious. So we are about an hour into our dining experience and finished a fantastic appetizer and great salads. I ordered a bottle of wine to go with dinner. The wine showed up almost 30 minutes later. No meal. Two hours into our visit the waitress notifies us that they are playing our food. At this point we were not interested in eating as it had been over an hour since we finished our salads (did I mention that the salads and entrees were ordered at the same time!) and asked that the entrees be cancelled. The "manager" came out and offered no apology, only excuses. Then when the bill came to me is was charged a 4% Admin fee. When I questioned this the manager said that's the upcharge for using a credit card. I said that i didn't plan on using one but since she forced my hand I did. I will say the food that I did get was excellent but the complete lack of service and lack of remedy offered by "management" for the ruination of my anniversary dinner will prevent me from ever going back.

My wife and I decided to look for a place to eat on the way home between Lafayette and New Orleans and we discovered this place. We were blown away with the service, setting, staff, and the cuisine. This place a true hidden gem in small town south Louisiana. Everything we ordered was superb. Highly, highly recommend giving this place your business. We will be back!

It's challenging to find a restaurant with such tasty dishes paired with a commensurate level dismissive smarm from the management. It's not guaranteed that you will have a poor experience, however if you call ahead to find out Tabitha's schedule for the week, you can plan to celebrate with your loved ones while being made to feel as though you are an inconvenience and were never loved by your parents. Always tasty specials. Always romantic lighting. Always bitter Tabitha.

Nice restaurant, great ambiance. But the last 2 times my family has ate there the food has been less than desirable. Both time the my steak has come out cold and thin. My wife's pecan crusted chicken was dry and had entirely too much seasoning on it. The gumbo is great and drinks were also good. For the price I expect better.

Prices too high for the quality of food. Service was slow, extremely noisy, some of food was cold when delivered. And gratuity should be awarded according to service. I don't think I'll be back.Vegetarian options: I had mixed veggies but a very small amount. Would've liked more that a couple tablespoons for the price.Parking: Needs better parking area.Wheelchair accessibility: Very congested and would not work for a wheelchair too well.
Excellent food and service. Great ambiance. Highly recommend. Good place for lone travelers or single diners.

Really surprising place. The ambience is nice, the personnel is super courteous. I had a great 3 course meal. The scallops were cooked to perfection and amazing. For main course I had steak and crab with bernaise, the crab cake was delicious, I order my steak medium rare but it came out more as a medium well, still it was great. And a nice piece of cheesecake with raspberry sauce for dessert. All in all a good experience that I might be doing again pretty soon...

Excellent cocktails (strawberry mojito), very tasteful redfish belle river …maybe too acidic with the vinegar, I would probably keep the sweet side from mash potatoes with bacon…Nice dining room and ambiance !
