We had an amazing time here at Gina's. Our food was delicious and fresh. For an appetizer we had onion rings and a cup of crab corn soup. The onion rings are really thin and crispy , which is so delicious! The cup of soup was a bit cheesy. For the meal I had a shrimp poboy and a piece of my mom's catfish! ( How could I not ! It's fresh Louisiana catfish ) Absolutely DELICIOUS!The shrimp on my poboy and the fish gave me a very similar taste to how the fried shrimp and fish used to taste like at politz. I was so happy about that. We were told by the waitress at politz that they no longer serve Louisiana catfish. Which was really sad to hear , and taste. With this visit at Gina's at the Legion I now no longer have to worry about what place to go to get some good ole Louisiana seafood when I'm back in town.When I was younger Gina used to run a snowball stand that us all in St. Charles Community would support. It was great to continue to support her restaurant. Thank you Gina for all of your great dishes and memories that came along with them.

Big portions, great pricing, & taste to die for. We've had the spaghetti and meatballs special. So delicious with huge meatballs. A few other daily specials which they have yet to disappoint. Love the live Cajun music. The customer service was excellent as well. A very homey feeling in here.

The food was great we had a large group of about 25 people. We were only allowed to order off of a special menu. The others in the restaurant were allowed to orflder off the full menu.A few of the members of the group were upset because they had kids and were not allowed to order on the main menu, and the kids didn't eat what was offered on the main menu.Although I didn't hear anyone being rude, the others in the group said that the manager was very rude.

Comfortable environment, live cajun music, foods were greatly proportioned, homemade deserts were amazing, & prices were great. We definitely left in a food coma. I had the hamburger steak. It was somewhat bland but the meat was welldone like i like the meat. The presentation was amazing. My fiancé had the spaghetti ?& meatballs. The meatballs were huge and so yummy. The spaghetti sauce tasted amazing. We had the homemade desert bread pudding. It was very delicious. Everything was fresh and fulfilling.Kid-friendliness: It said on their facebook that all ages were welcomed for the live band.

Seems as if Gina’s is a weekly lunch spot. Daily specials are consistently excellent and the menu is diverse enough. Service is very good and the servers hustle. Parking is a bit of an adventure when the restaurant fills up. Recommend strongly.
