Healthy food that tastes amazing

I wanted to love it, as soon as I found out about it. Thibodaux is not known for its healthy food, as someone who does not eat a lot of fried foods it's hard to find any places to eat at so when I heard about it I ran over excited to try. The actual restaurant itself was cute and had a great vibe to it. I asked the girl at the cash register what she recommended and she told me she doesn't really eat the food there, that was my first red flag. Upon looking at the menu I settled for the daily special , it was a chicken south west bowl, little more on the pricy side of 12$ but I thought what the heck I'll try it. The food came out and I was rather dissatisfied at the appearance. The "chicken" looked and tasted like microwave ready chicken. Even had the fake grill marks on it. It was served with a handful of lettuce and a not ripe, hard avocado and some brown rice. The flavor was so bland and the chicken was cold, sad and disgusting. It's not that hard to grill a chicken breast come one yall...on top of that after I got my food the cashier informed me that they had no utensils available to use..so I had to find a to go fork in my car just so I could eat it. I gave it one star because it was a cute little lunch place but the food was bad and so was the service. I'm extremely disappointed because I wanted to continue to come and support the small business. What a shame :(

Very clean environment. Good service. Good food. I appreciate the healthy options. ... The Greek power bowl....delicious ! Also, I appreciate the option of eating either indoor or outdoor.

The power bowl is really good, I even thought about a second one, because it was a little small for me. Maybe an up size option. I will have to ask next time.
