We preordered a catering package of mini donuts and chicken tenders for a Girl Scout trip w 11 people! We needed something quick to go between our White House and Capital tours. The order was done when we arrived. The chicken tenders were perfectly seasoned and cooked, so crunchy and moist. And the donuts were amazing! Great assortment of flavors and nice sweet dough. This was also our cheapest meal of the trip which was an added bonus!

Maple bacon donut was delicious, peach filled donut was average; neither worth $5 plus tax. To top it off got the stink eye for not tipping.... I will give you a tip: don't charge $5 for a donut.

If you want one of the best doughnuts you have ever tasted, go to Astro’s doughnuts! Creative flavors, fresh, and great customer service. We ordered a crème brûlée, peach cobbler, and banana pudding doughnut. While the peach and banana were amazing, the crème Brûlée was the BEST doughnut I’ve ever tasted. This is a must see stop in DC!

Awesome donuts! The key lime doughnut was the best I've ever eaten. The cream filling was outstanding. The creme brulee doughnut was also filled with delicious cream. Very tasty and a fun experience trying them.

Went for the Glazed Beignets... Was told the fryer was broke. Place smells of cigarette smoke. After purchasing several Donuts and getting home. Donuts had the smell of smoke and had to throw them away. Will not go back.

Donuts are delicious, if a bit pricey. There is quite a variety to choose from and they aren't your usual flavors. Cheery Blossom was very pretty and very yummy.

I have ben coming here as often as I can on DC trips as I am a diehard fan. I was very excited to see when I landed that cherry blossom doughnuts were available as that was the doughnut I had on my first trip. Hand decorated doughnut with great cherry filling (not pie filling) and a cherry blossom drawn on top. I paired it with a fried egg savory doughnut sandwich. Yes, the place is small and has tables outside only. Grab a seat or take it with you to go.
Cream Cheese King cakes have a imitation cream cheese frosting, awful!! Worst King cake I've had in 15 years!!! Stay away!!

There are a few donut places in Northern Virginia and D.C. that do the "unique topping" thing (maple bacon, peanut butter and jelly, pecan pie, etc.) but I don't think any do it better than Astro. I've tried at least a dozen of their flavors and never been disappointed! Their creme brûlée donut may be the best donut I've ever tried. That donut in particular is not the best for a breakfast but it makes an incredible dessert! I also want to say that these donuts are the more fluffy type of donut as opposed to the cake style of donut. Also, this is a great location if you are a tourist visiting D.C. short walking distance to the Mall and the White House.

Seating was odd…only outside. Next door at the bar was open for seating. Chicken was great. We ordered a family pack and it was enough food for 5 of us. No plates or napkins were provided.
They do not have DONUTS
