Such a fun place! It seemed like a Cajun version of Cheers when I walked in. I didn’t get a chance to eat there but they do have food so I’ll be sure to come hungry next time!Great change of pace from New Orleans with much friendlier service and way lower prices. Highly recommend.
Sammy and captain George are the friendliest warmest people I was blessed with meeting, this place was my favourite place, with great people inside, that make you feel like family. I can’t recommend this place enough!

I visited this bar several times while on holiday in the New Orleans area. It felt like a home away from home - friendly owners, staff and locals who welcomed us and showed us the southern hospitality I’ve heard so much about. You’ve got to try both the crab cakes and Gumbo - you can’t go wrong and is definitely a bargain! We felt looked after and safe in this bar which was local to where we were staying.
